I saw the Go-Betweens in New York City around 1987. Ireland's A House opened. These two bands could'n't have been more different.

Draiman was a p**** who had me forcibly picked up and removed from the venue - even though I was there working for Sony as the official photographer. So I decided not to post any photos that included him.

When they came to the Ritz, Camper Van Beethoven came on before the Mighty Lemon Drops. Also, there was a heckler in the audience when the Chameleons played. He threw Mark Burgess off his game a bit.

Literally the next day, March 11th, Los Angeles announced the first Covid lockdown, following the lead of many cities around the world. Will never forget that concert

[show #138] My first time at the new Maine Savings Pavilion. Hopefully they improve a little while they build Rock Row. The center music box was obstructing half the stage so I hopped online and purchased closer tickets. Shouldn't have to do that but I won't fall for that twice. Other than that, the sound was superb and there was virtually no waiting between bands, other than the initial setup. Motionless in White was a great opener. Reminded me of the God Bombs a little. Halestorm is just a great rock band. Much rather be seeing them live than listing on the radio. And it was great to see Alice Cooper for a 2nd time. I swear the guy isn't aging.

[show #143] Oh, man! I never thought I'd be able to see Pantera on stage again. With Phil and Rex the only surviving members (RIP Dimebag and Vinnie!!), it was more than okay to get Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante to fill the roles. It was a great show and great time. I so wish I could have been in the pits for this one. Lamb of God put on a great show as well, as they always do. King Parrot had some good music but I just wasn't digging the vocals. Too screechy for my taste. Could have been good with lower vocals, like Hatebreed. Carnivora was that band playing on the side as we walked in, and again on the way out. Female singer with some heavy pipes. They were pretty good. George and Tabitha were at the show, and apparently lots of people from work were there. Can't wait to see Pantera again.

[show #144] First time I finally get to see Lita Ford! She still has her voice. The only down was they overextended an instrumental/collaboration with Gary Hoey on the song Back to the Cave. It was just too long and people started sitting down or they left early. Bobby Rock had a killer drum solo, so the two going back to back was just too long for people who wanted to dance around and sing to their favorite songs. Patrick Kennison, the guitarist (formerly of The Union Underground) sang the Ozzy portion of Close My Eyes Forever and he did great. He's a good singer. If the whole show had the same energy that came out of Kiss Me Deadly, it would have been a wild ride. Still glad to see them. I never heard of Gary Hoey but he's an amazing guitarist. His son too, who joined them for a song or two.

My first real concert that was outside of a pride event. I went on a whim because my brothers girlfriend at the time wasn’t able to make it. I went not knowing much about any of the bands and i was also late to the venue on top of it. I ended up meeting skye the lead singer of sumo cyco, after their set in their merch section. It was a dope experience and I loved meeting her she was so kind and she took note that it was my first concert and signed a printed picture of the band we got in the merch section since that was all I was able to afford. I had a photo op with her and she was so sweet!

This was one of the best concerts I've been to. The first set was filled with Christmas standards and then the second half was full of hymns. Beautiful voices, the live band was phenomenal, and the concert closed with everyone standing and singing Christmas carols. A must see concert!
