 Eric F. Scholl Linda was on tour with the Neville Brothers...a perfect fit, as Aaron and Linda sang several songs from her latest album. A funny side note: this was an outdoor festival and at night, flying insects gravitated to the spotlights, at times, flying up Linda's dress.  Martin Hizer One of a spell of many cancellations by Ozzy, due to a severe upper respiratory infection, later escalating to pneumonia. Later on that year, Ozzy had a fall which aggravated an old injury. All 2019 dates were pushed to 2020. The 2020 dates were subsequently cancelled due to COVID-19 with plans to play in 2022. Due to continuing health issues and a required spinal injury recovery, the dates were eventually cancelled and he later announced his retirement from touring.  ChillGill I also meant to add something to my last comment. When Lynyrd Skynrd played Freebird, they didn’t sing the lyrics out of respect for their fallen members. They simply played the music and the crowd was emotional and very moved. It is still one of those fine moments in live music where you think back and can still hear the music, smell the grass, and could still remember exactly where you were sitting at Starwood when it happened.  ChillGill Volunteer Jam XIII was held again at Starwood Amphitheatre in Nashville. Special guests included William Lee Golden, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Chapman, Great White and others, including Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was Johnny Van Zant’s first appearance as Skynyrd frontman, replacing his brother, Ronnie, who died in the 1977 plane crash that killed three members of the band.
