 ChillGill I also meant to add something to my last comment. When Lynyrd Skynrd played Freebird, they didn’t sing the lyrics out of respect for their fallen members. They simply played the music and the crowd was emotional and very moved. It is still one of those fine moments in live music where you think back and can still hear the music, smell the grass, and could still remember exactly where you were sitting at Starwood when it happened.  ChillGill Volunteer Jam XIII was held again at Starwood Amphitheatre in Nashville. Special guests included William Lee Golden, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Chapman, Great White and others, including Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was Johnny Van Zant’s first appearance as Skynyrd frontman, replacing his brother, Ronnie, who died in the 1977 plane crash that killed three members of the band.  Edna Masters I was 17 and my sis in law was 15. Does anyone remember Bon Scott mooning everyone? Well, he completely dropped his drawers and we were seated towards the back of the stage.  Martin Hizer Steve Harris of Iron Maiden was booked as support with his side project ‘British Lion’, but cancelled due to disagreements over Covid 19 protocols. They were replaced as support by ‘Massive Wagons’. Unfortunately, Massive Wagons pulled out the night before when a member of the group caught the virus. Thankfully Kris Barras came to the rescue at the 11th hour, playing a storming acoustic set with his fellow Kris Barras Band member Josiah J Manning. Apart from that, cracking concert!
