 GaryAura Attended this concert age 16 - The support act, The Straits, I not remember at all, except they got a hard time from the crowd, who booed them a lot. Tom Robinson Band were excellent. Really tight band who played well - Though band had new drummer replacing 'Dolphin'. Band played many tracks from their Power in the Darkness LP: Winter of 79, Up Against the Wall, Ain't gonna take it, as well as hit 2,4,6,8 Motorway, and tracks from EP; Sing if Your Glad to Be Gay, and Martin - Both of which were well received by the audience - Band also played tracks from their just released TRB2 album, but they were not very well received by the crowd or me: TRB2 tracks seemed a bit flat & boring after the energy of Power in Darkness LP - Overall it was a good rock gig - TRB were a really tight rocking outfit, who got the crowd going.
