Brandi Dixon I was at this concert with my friend and her mom. I remember how insane the crowd got when Mark W dropped them drawers. Honestly though who wouldn't stomp on someone to get to those abs 🤭 Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch / Ex-Girlfriend Dec 10, 2024
Brandi Dixon This was the first concert I ever went to. I'll never forget it. I remember Donnie W. jumped on top of the huge Xmas tree that was up on stand and was swinging on it. I was 10 yrs old 🤣 New Kids On The Block / The Cover Girls / Dino Dec 10, 2024
ParaNoid Technically this venue was still called the Ford Center when this event took place & up until the summer of 2010. It was shortly known as the Oklahoma Arena before being renamed The Chesapeake in the summer of 2011. In 2021 it was renamed by Paycom who now owns contract til 2036.  Peter Marland Absolutely epic. Unquestionably, one of the great bands of our time. Saw it with my daughter which made it mind-blowingly special and memorable. Arctic Monkeys Dec 09, 2024

Bill Mair December 6, 1975 Opening Night of the Pontiac Silverdome Pontiac MI During the show the main floor crowd surged forward causing a crush near the front of the stage. Pete admonished the crowd to move back saying "Its fucking blood and guts up here!". During band introductions, when Keith's name was announced, he came flying out from behind the drums, did a somersault and leaped into the air! It was the first major rock show for the Pontiac Silverdome, then new home for the Detroit Lions and Pistons. Led Zeppelin would set a single concert gross record there a few years later of over $1,000,000. The Who / Toots & The Maytals Dec 09, 2024
riccas59 My first exposure to Anders Osborne.., not your typical "Bluegrass Festival" act. That's the great thing about OSMF.., like a box of chocolates... Old Settler's Music Festival Dec 09, 2024
Bill Mair Like thousands of Who fans, I had anxiously awaited the new album from The Who. We were richly rewarded with Quadrophenia, the magnum opus about a mod kid named Jimmy in London in 1964/1965. Although any double album has quite a lot of material to ingest, Quadrophenia is the four sided story of Jimmy's pursuit of his own identity, and among other events, where that identity fits in to the then ongoing Mod movement in Britain. I followed the tale through those four vinyl sides, absorbed by the story and the Who's majestic performances. Much of Lynyrd Skynyrd's supporting set was lost in the cavernous reaches of the venue. Then on came The Who; opening with "Can't Explain" set the stage for the show. You could almost feel the wind on your face and smell the salty air when the sound effects were heard through the massive Heil PA system. Closing the show with "Won't Get Fooled Again", they exited the stage despite a prolonged and deafening call from the crowd for an encore. We had seen an incredible show and we knew it.  riccas59 The Saturday evening acts were rained out. 5 - 6 hundred (mabey more) took shelter in the Pavillion for close to an hour. After that, huge bus lines (had to take busses to the parking lot) in the mud. 28th Annual Old Settlers Music Festival Dec 09, 2024
