tmer197 I had never heard of The Tragically Hip, but I remember Gord Downie being pretty riveting. My one memory being of him pretending to catch a fly and eat it mid-song. I always thought it was a weird combo, them and Eric Johnson. The Tragically Hip Dec 03, 2025

TOSMIX More of a DJ set than a concert. Two undeniable legends, but a bit underwhelming? Also sad that so much was about other legends no longer with us, such as Big L, Biggie, Guru, Mac Miller, Prodigy, Nas DJ Premier / The Alchemist Dec 03, 2025

JC Clark My company supplied and operated the touring sound system. The previous night we also did the same for a Jimmie Buffet concert in Key West at the local hotel "Key Wester", for a sold-out crowd of maybe 200?. Jimmy Buffett Dec 03, 2025

Tim Cancilla-Rattlehead Blessed to have been there to see RJD again! Dio / Dokken Dec 03, 2025
Tim Cancilla-Rattlehead It was an epic 1980s night right out of a movie. My uncle was the Video Director for Journey and their Production business; he did many bands. My super close childhood friend and I went, and we found two seats next to these two chicks who must have been Juniors in High school. Ronnie and I were in the 7th grade, before Bryan Adams came on, Ronnie pulled the pack of Winstons he took from his mom's stash, HA! The two chicks started laughing, dam, look at these two dudes! Cigs Eh, try this, and handed us a nice fat joint, which was the first of at least 5. The area we were in was full of stoners, an awesome section. We were scared to bring in our pipe and bag; those two chicks were awesome. Bryan Adams fell immediately as he took the stage lol. Before and after the concert, we had ALL access backstage passes, which we used before and after it was over. Before the concert, everyone was asking whose initials are M.A. on your pass? I said my UNCLE Mick Anger, everyone parted the seas, not because Mick was a bigwig (Which he was), but because everyone liked and respected him in the business. My friend Ronnie Hughson and I were freshly baked when we found the "Journey" arcade video game. We started playing when Steve Perry walked up to us and started talking to us. Steve Perry asked me whose initials those are on your backstage passes. I proudly said My uncle Mick Anger (His Stage Name), Steve Perry, I have known Mick a very long time. Mick is a great guy, and then Steve Perry autographed our concert shirts. Later on, my uncle said that it is very uncharacteristic of Steve Perry; usually, after a concert, he is a recluse and he rarely, if at all, signs anything! Thank you, Uncle Mike!
