Brucefan24 Founding members Don Brewer (vocals and drums, and writer/singer of the iconic "We're an American Band") and Mel Schacher (bass, the thunder behind the groove) are joined by a lineup of all-star talent: soulful lead vocalist and writer of 38 Special's smash "Second Chance," Max Carl; guitar slinger and veteran of Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band Mark Chatfield; and the ever-versatile Tim Cashion (affectionately known as "Dr. Tim"), who - in the past - has hit the road with Robert Palmer and Bob Seger, on keys.  WarpedFactor I was at this concert. Tommy James was the headliner; Bo Diddly was the opener, and was AMAZING, notwithstanding that the airline had lost his guitar. Bo Diddly played one of Brooklyn Bridge's spare guitars. Then came Johnny Maestro and Brooklyn Bridge. They played an awesome set, and took a curtain call. An another, and another, on and on. Due to a "Blue Law", the venue had to close at midnight, so Tommy James and the Shondells hit the stage at about 11:40PM. They basically just did a medley and called it a night. I don't think anyone but Tommy James was disappointed. Johhny Maestro STOLE the show and he was awesome. The whole audience loved him and the curtain calls were sincere... Gotta say that as far as I am concerned this was one of the best concert experiences I have ever had! I don't recall the Chiffons singing at all. Tommy James And The Shondells / Johnny Maestro / The Chiffons / Bo Diddley Dec 05, 2025
