 Aesthete This was the first time I saw Genesis, and they were amazing. Peter Gabriel's stories were a breath of fresh air and "The Knife" was magnificent! The tour was expected to make a loss, but it went ahead anyway in the hope it would generate record sales. It turned out to be the most successful tour of its kind in two years, selling out every venue and being extended.  Aesthete I went with my friends from Sandown Grammar School in the Isle of Wight, who were also in the school club called "The Blues and Progressive Music Club". Towards the end of the concert, several of us jumped onto the stage and danced while Leon played the piano. Subsequently, the Portsmouth Evening News printed a photo of us all on the front page. It peaked at No. 4 in the UK, remaining in the charts for over a year. Line up of the band on the album and tour was: Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice.  ForceEntry Ronnie James Dio ( DIO ) didn't sing on both nights. ROB HALFORD / of Judas Priest song on both nights. The Songs were older Black Sabbath.. This was DIO 1st come back Album "Dehumanizer" after leaving Black Sabbath ( Live Evil, The Mob Rules, Heaven & Hell ). On top of the OZZY did sing with Black Sabbath the 2nd nite.
