D.P. I filled a vacant role of photographer for The Nicholls Worth on this show with stage access to take at least 100 photos at this concert. It was my second Chicago show at Nicholls after seeing them in an outdoor setting back in 1984. Chicago Jan 23, 2023
D.P. Great rockin' show! I know the band opened with four straight off of Hi InFidelity with their standard set of catalog "hits" following that. Sound was loud and the setting along the banks of the mighty Mississippi made it even more enjoyable. REO Speedwagon Jan 23, 2023
Chasw67 Interview with Corey Brennan at https://www.evandando.co.uk/coreybrennan he remembers "We of course did the European tour, and ended it with a Peel session and then a wild final show, headlining at the London Fulham Greyhound (30 June 1989)" The Lemonheads Jan 23, 2023
D.P. As I recall, my friend Brandon and I watched most the Little River Band set, busted it down the street to catch Sister Hazel on the Gretna Fest stage, then back to the Main Stage - working our way through the huge crowd that was closest to the River side and catching an excellent REO show. What a great day of live music this was! Little River Band at 2010 Gretna Heritage Festival Jan 23, 2023
D.P. I remember SH playing a Fleetwood Mac cover during their show; pretty sure it was "You Make Loving Fun". They also did a tribute to a roadie who was getting a job with Justin Bieber or something like that. Sister Hazel Jan 23, 2023

D.P. My mother, Margie, took me to this show when I was 11 years old (first concert I can remember), and she led me to the stage after the show and insisted that "Marty come out and meet my son". He did, and Mr. Robbins was kind enough to sign the back of my ticket stub which I still have today! I don't remember much about the show except he played "El Paso" and "A White Sport Coat (and a Pink Carnation)" which may have been the only two songs of his that I knew. Marty Robbins Jan 22, 2023

D.P. High School Senior Trip 1983! From Thibodaux, Louisiana, to Fort Walton Beach, Florida - backtracked to Biloxi for this show, then back to F-L-A for more fun in the sun. Wonderful concert featuring the platinum lineup including Dennis DeYoung, Tommy Shaw, James "J.Y." Young, and the Panozzo brothers. Styx is the best live band I've ever seen, ALWAYS living up to expectations and filling my life with so many great memories! Styx Jan 22, 2023
D.P. I was working in radio in south Louisiana in the summer of '91 and had backstage passes for a friend from college and me courtesy of A&M Records! We met and visited with everyone in the band except Dennis DeYoung who never came out of the dressing room. Dyan Cannon was among the celebrities who were backstage after the concert.
