Tiffany Kotz Went with Paul Kotz. Went to the meet & greet where I requested Breakdown. They said it was the first time they ever played it acoustically and afterwards said maybe that's the way it was meant to be played! They confirmed that one of the inspirations for it was in fact Would by Alice in Chains as I suspected. So awesome! Dogpark / Hotel Fiction Nov 03, 2025
jasrss 1st concert ever at the opening of the venue! While waiting for the show to start, the venue was telecasting game 1 of NBA west conference finals between San Antonio Spurs and LA Lakers. Petty announced the show wouldn't start until the game was over. Everyone was so excited and thrilled. Alas, the Spurs narrowly lost the game, but the whole venue loved Petty :) Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers / The Wallflowers Nov 03, 2025
Wet Leg / Faux Real Nov 03, 2025

stephenhuerta 11/03/2025, Update: What an incredible evening it was on October 31st. The Stoned Jesus concert was fuckin’ hot! I got there around 5:45, I was the only one in line, I was the line. About 5 minutes after I got there, Juan Tamayo ( of Vinnum Sabbathi) came downstairs and we were both happy to see each other, hugs and smiles. I asked Juan if he could set me up with a place to sit, just like his brother Román did in 2022, when I saw Slift and Vinnum Sabbathi for the first time, in CDMX. Juan looks at me and says, “hold on I’ll see what I can arrange “. Not three minutes later, Juan comes downstairs and gets me and takes me upstairs to a seat, next to the merch table. You know what they say, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. My good friend Juan Tamayo took good care of me. THANKS JUAN, YOU’RE THE BEST. All three bands were on fire, all three bands were trios, my all time favorite. First up was Veljet, a local CDMX trio doing all instrumentals, these guys were really good, all driving stoner doom with lots of heavy riffs. 3Demons had a very different sound, more accessible, but they had excellent presentation. I caught the sound check of all three bands. Stoned Jesus’ sound check was amazing. After they were done I was able to get Igor’s attention. Oh man!, it was so exciting and so much fun talking to the members of Stoned Jesus. What a bunch of nice guys. We took lots of pictures, which you will see. Stoned Jesus was HOTT! Oh man they rocked the house, and the audience? Oh man, Mexico City loved Stoned Jesus, the audience participation was amazing, and Stoned Jesus loved it. Towards the end, you wouldn’t believe how crazy the crowd got, they were moshing big time. Igor jumped into the crowd and was croud surfing, it was great. One thing I’ve noticed in the last six years I’ve been living in Mexico, Mexico has some of the best audiences I’ve ever seen and witnessed, they truly appreciate the live music experience. And the bands are seeing this, with more bands from around the world touring Mexico and Latin America. That alone, totally pleases me. I’ve seen some amazing bands here in Mexico, I especially love the venues in Guadalajara, it’s a lot closer for me. From Tepic, I can be in GDL in 3.5 hrs. Nice! That’s it, the story of my second concert and my second visit to CDMX. If all goes as planned, I’ll be going back in February of 2026 for Doom City Fest. Once again, Juan Tamayo is going to make arrangements for a seat a the VIP Table, I’ll keep you posted. I’m very grateful and fortunate to have such good friends like Juan and Román Tamayo and Gerardo, Vinn Sabb’s drummer. Thanks guys. Stoned Jesus / 3Demons / Veljet Nov 03, 2025

G6 Group Best show at the Water Street Music Hall yet (and we’ve been going there since the late 80’s when it was named something else!) Wasn’t up on the stage, she had a small square area cordoned off on the floor and just played like that, so sweet and up close and personal! Voice of an angel! Her band really cooked!!
