Gregory Linton It was a shock to have him come to Reading, never would have expected to come here. The crowd was good, didn't expect that either. He did three covers which was cool, especially Personal Jesus. Great show as ususal. Marilyn Manson Mar 21, 2021
Gregory Linton It was a nice summer day, Tom and I had a great time. Dream Theater is an amazing band and to hear them do Machine Messiah was shocking! It wasn't like we were gonna hear Yes do that one. The Yes show was slightly short but it was nice to see Rodger Dean involved with the stage for this tour, sure it wasn't the crab nebula or anything like that but it was still his design. Great setlist as well and saw Jane on stage dancing with Jon at one point. Yes / Dream Theater Mar 21, 2021
Gregory Linton This on I'm trying to remember who all came along, I think it was Tom, Crystal and Scott. This was a killer set, so much variety, the opening of the show had the huge 7 song montage of songs put together, it was a teaser to be sure, but it was cool to even hear some of those parts. From the Drum solo on was rediculous, what a great group of songs, 2112 with Lav Vill Stangiato next and then By-Tor!!! Xanadu, Working Man, who can ask for more, they even though in Summertime Blues!! After the show we had a small issue, I'll never forget it, probably why my eyes are not as good as they used to be, my headlights didn't work! I didn't know it but it was only a relay and apparently I could have switched the horn and headlight relay and would have been fine, but I didn't know that, drove more than 2 hours on the highway using my flashers, its not easy to drive like that, I can't believe we were only 20 minute s from home when a cop finally stopped us, he let us go, I bet he felt bad for us when I told him how far I'd driven so far with only flashers for lights. Did I mention I missed the exit and had to back track many miles, yeah, not fun after the show, but we survived. Rush Mar 21, 2021
Gregory Linton It was surpising to be able to see them, not the original band but at least 2/3 of it, Cevin Keys and Ohgr. It was a great show! They played music from 8 different albums! Mostly from the new album but also from The Process and ViVisectVI. Skinny Puppy / Tweaker Mar 21, 2021
Gregory Linton I remember when Keys To Ascension 2 came out and at the time on AMY, the old BBS on the early internet had been hyping up Mind Drive to what I thought was an unsustainable level, like the new CTTE, when the album came out I figured I'd be let down, instead the song renewed my faith in the band in every possible way, it was a stunning piece, from the perfect Steve Howe opening on acoustic guitar, to then hearing Chris do the same piece on bass! Then later in the song to hear Rick killing it and have Steve completely burst into flames, I only found out later that Steve's guitar section was improvised, something Yes did not do on albums, in concert they played an abbreviated version, it was still cool, but I would have loved to hear a perfect version ol the album live.Sweet Dreams and South Side of the Sky were amazing, and Turn of the Century, also Foot Prints and hearing Show Me with Yes, not just Jon solo like I did the last time. One strong seltilst, so much! Yes Mar 21, 2021
Gregory Linton This was the second time seeing them, Derrick, Lee and I waited outside till the doors opened, Lee went and wondered around the immediate area till he found a scalper, he didn't have any ticket and told us that he would be sure to find a scalper, well turns out when we got to the door, he truly was a scalper as the ticket he sold to Lee was fake, so he couldn't go inside. At the time I was a member of the EN supporters and managed to get a photo pass and we the only time I was able to bring my SLR into a show legitimately. It's too bad my camera and lens were not the best at the time, pre digital and I wasn't close. I still managed to get a few shots. It was a great show and afterwards I headed upstairs for the meet and greet, it really was nothing like those are today, they had a huge spread of food and different German beers, Beck was up there milling about! I met Blixa and he signed my Ende Neu CD, I asked him about his bathroom photography and he told me he'd gotten bored with it. I was cool to meet him, he seemed very relaxed.  don b I believe the location for this show should be Evansville, IN Three Dog Night / Brandon Whyde Mar 20, 2021
Gregory Linton This was the first time I'd seen Jon solo, I really expected after seeing Steve Howe live to be blasted away by his voice in this venue. well I was underwhelmed, I realized that this was literally a Work in Progress, and there was no Yes behind him, I think it was a very casual tour and he has sung these songs a million times so he did them slightly differently plus he was the guitar mainly rhythm, don't get me wrong, I loved this show, when he sang Show Me, I was blasted away by his voice and totally stunned, he said it was a Yes song, I'd never heard it before, since it was new! I think since is was so fresh and he wanted to make an impact he went into that Yes mode and of course the prerecorded Rick wakeman added volumes to this one. When the box set came out I was thrilled that it was on it. At the end of the show, he said he'd be at the back to do meet and greet, this was prior to paying for it. So the entire, or at least it seemed like the entire audience waited to meet and great, I was the second to last person in line. It was really amazing that he would do that, it was well over an hour till I got to the table, I asked him about his possible duet with Igor Khoroshev and he said that Igor was really out there, so I guess that means that would never happen, he signed my Going For the One. He was so nice, I wasn't nervous meeting him or anything like that. It was a great experience I'll never forget. Jon Anderson Mar 20, 2021
Gregory Linton The Electric Factory has always been my favorite, It seemed like a short show but he did play Sweet Dreams which was cool to hear live. 13Even / Marilyn Manson Mar 20, 2021
