James Arthur	One of my roommates scored tickets and invited me. One of the things I remember from this concert is that there were about half a dozen people dancing down close to the stage and most everyone else was just staring at the stage as if in a trance. I assume that was because everyone in there was high. I might have been the only sober person there. Janis was drinking from a flask while she was performing. I assume it was whiskey. Lionart60	Speaking of T-shirts, I wish I still had mine from then. I have one from the 2nd Day of Rock and Roll, but all the shirts I bought at the First Day, are gone. I bought a Nazareth shirt that was killer, and I gave it to a lady I worked with. Trey Merrill	The coffin act was cool as hell. I was in L.A. on business (mid-20s and by myself). I thought “to hell with sitting by myself in a hotel room on NYE” and (by fluke) recognized his name from somewhere….and knew 1 song. Figured I’d go see a 50’s blues act and was BLOWN THE FK AWAY!!! Sat with a couple who I befriended and it was one of the best NYE’s ever….probably because it was so unexpected. …and to think it all started with a coffin entering the room (that you helped carry).
