griffinm I attended this concert my freshman year at East Carolina University. I still have my ticket stub and photos from the concert but there's no online reference to Heart playing at ECU. Unfortunately, my ticket stub was ripped in half upon entrance to the concert and the side the usher kept was the side that showed the date. Fortunately, my photos from the concert have "November 1985" stamped on the back from the photo processing company. I was able to find a reference to Heart playing at an "unknown venue" in "Greenville, SC" on this date. There are two Greenvilles...one in SC and one in NC and they often get mistaken. Since Heart played in Columbia, SC on 2/27/86, I'm convinced they did NOT play a 2nd show in SC and that this 11/3/85 is in fact the Greenville, NC show at Minges Coliseum. Heart Oct 28, 2020
Kirby I was there and it was awesome, it rained like hell but because all the fans stayed and didn't run for cover the band said the hell with it if y'all are going to stay then we are going to play for you and the hell with the rain. Jagger even broke out an umbrella at one time then said the hell with it and got soaked. Keith even sang and played his wireless guitar out front center stage with My Little T&A and the rain splashing off his guitar neck and strings it was nuts.  halorez I was right in front of the stage. After the show I got a guitar pick used by Gord Downie off of the stage, and a drumstick tip used by Johnny Fay. (See uploaded photos.) The Tragically Hip Oct 27, 2020

Mark Smolen I remember going to see Jerry Jeff in an outdoor festival in Texarkana either in 74 or 75, but don’t see it listed here. It was very memorable for me as I was arrested for pot just ahead of Jerry Jeff getting arrested for DWI in a police road block going into the festival. I can’t find any record of this concert - can anyone verify? Jerry Jeff Walker Oct 27, 2020
xbioman I attended this concert in 1976. The band played all older hits for the first part of the show. After intermission, the set opened with a curtain showing the silhouette of a string section of an orchestra. They proceeded to play the entire "Hotel California: album from start to finish. If I remember correctly, the encore song was Desperado (but I might be wrong there). Eagles / J.D. Souther Oct 26, 2020

 Head_Unit ...and https://dailyillini.com/uncategorized/2010/05/12/top-10-highest-attended-concerts-at-the-assembly-hall/ supports a 4/21/1981 date REO Speedwagon Oct 24, 2020
Head_Unit This date seems a mistake. No way they stopped in Champaign twice, I would have remembered that. Feb 20, 1983 seems correct, with Red Rider opening, and is corroborated by setlist.fm. Setlist.fm also shows a tour date April 21, 1981 (not '83) REO Speedwagon Oct 24, 2020
