 Tony Petres I could be wrong after all these years, but I'm almost positive REO opened their portion of the show with "Ridin' The Storm Out". They kinda upstaged JoJo as they had a thicker song catolg to choose from than did JoJo. Really dug the new singer (Murphy) as he struck us to be a better "R and R type singer than Kevin Cronin. Unfortunately, the girls/women of the day preferred Cronin's whimpy ballads, and apparently Murphy couldn't write the way Cronin did. Overall, we enjoyed both bands greatly. It was also the beginning of the 1973 Arab OIl Embargo, and we had to bring a couple of extra gallons of gas to make the 120 mile roundtrip down US 81. REO/ JOJO GUNNE Aug 19, 2022
