 Georges A. Gauthier This was the Last show of the People Who Aren’t Here Anymore tour. Sam Herrings’ voice is neither good nor skilled but his expression is captivating. Evocative, extremely physical, he mimes his lyrics making his quote theatrical. He dances torturously and acts more like a musical actor on Broadway. Ironically the all important lyrics are almost incomprehensible because of his idiosyncratic and expressive delivery. He could be speaking Klingon. Still, an awesome show. Future Islands Oct 04, 2025
 Georges A. Gauthier Garvey’s crooning voice doesn’t disappoint live. Plus he’s bolstered by 4 back up singers/ brass/string section. In fact they were 9 on stage. it never gets old to see a tight band play well. I had to lean on that appreciation as I haven’t bought one of their albums in 14 years so a lot of the catalogue (at least half!) was unfamiliar.  Jean-Claude It was in the 1990s and I had to do time (if you know, what I mean). I had served a good 3 ½ years when my lawyer managed to get the rest of my sentence commuted into a therapy (yes, drugs were also involved in this criminal case...) I was able to leave the prison cell and was sent to a therapeutic institution near Thun in the Bernese Oberland. It was on the occasion of my first unaccompanied release when The Bucks, who were of course well known to me as a native of Zurich, played at Café Emmental in Thun. I didn't want to miss this gig!  EV3N De mon côté, j’ai beaucoup aimé l’expérience et j’ai passé une très bonne soirée. Concernant le concert il était assez court, Guy a interprété quelques sons en exclu de Jeunesse Dorée. Pour les guests, je m’attendais à ce qu’ils chantent leurs propres titres mais finalement ils se sont limités à leurs feats avec Guy ce qui fait qu’ils sont vraiment passés 30 secondes sur scène quoi.
