TheFakeItalian The Enemy showcased their brilliant album, We live and Die in these Towns. The band were sooo young and they performed a blistering set. Became a fan. The Enemy May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian Saw Roger Daltrey perform Tommy, a great album and a good gig.Simon Townsend taking over from his dad as lead guitar. Roger Daltrey May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian My daughter got me to listen to Good Morning Revival. Liked the album so took a punt. It was a good concert, but the lead singer goes into a preamble when introducing each track and could have fitted an extra 4/5 songs into their set.Did not know much of their earlier material. Good Charlotte / Beat Union / Linchpin May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian Took a punt due to liking their album a mouthful of Love. A throwback to the good old heavy rock days at its best.A really good gig with fine support Young Heart Attack / The Mooney Suzuki May 16, 2026

TheFakeItalian Having liked Blondie through the punk rock era, this was the first time of seeing Blondie live. She struggled with the high notes, whilst the show was cut short due to the electrics cutting out..had high hopes of this gig, so disappointed. Blondie / Hugh Cornwell May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian Coming out from The Beat, FYC showcasing their second album. Loved both of their albums and was a good concert Fine Young Cannibals May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian I quite liked some of their albums. Went with the ex-wife to the gig, and had to leave half way through their set due to ex-wife problems..bad mistake..got to see them as support to Aerosmith , years later Ugly Kid Joe / Electric Love Hogs May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian Having loved her Back to Black album, saw her on this tour. She came on stage at 10.00pm , totally drunk, but in true rock n roll style got through it. By the end of the evening the majors of the crowd were also drunk.Such a shame, a great talent. Amy Winehouse May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian During the month the radio stations was plugging this gig telling us that the majority of tracks played would be Led Zeppelin. That was far from the truth, apart from Rock and Roll and Black Dog it was a poor gig. The setlist was incorrect they did not play those many Zeppelin tracks! Transglobal Underground / Jimmy Page & Robert Plant May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian Being a Who fan got to see them at The Royal Albert Hall. This was the last time of seeing John Entwhistle. Remembering a great venue for a great band. Played all their hits , well over 2hr gig. The Who / The Electric Soft Parade May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian This was the warm up gig before their Teenage Cancer Trust gig at the Royal Albert Hall. Excellent as usual, from what I can remember. The Who / The Black Velvets May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian The band lineup was Deep Purple Mark 2. Garry Moore was equally good as well Whitesnake / Gary Moore G Force May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian 12 months later Whitesnake embarked on their Ready n Willing tour. Good concert with great support. Whitesnake / Gary Moore G Force May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian Saw the new look Stranglers, which was a 30th anniversary of No More Heroes. The gig was track per track played 30 years ago. What was also notable was that Dave Greenfield Hammond organ broke down twice, as a result The Stranglers played their live set from the beginning again and again. What a night, great gig as ever from The Stranglers. One of my fave bands The Stranglers May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian Under duress had to see the concert. The album was excellent but she certainly is no performer like Beyoncé. A sell out concert, but not my cup of tea. Alicia Keys / Miguel / Labrinth / John Legend May 16, 2026
TheFakeItalian What a lineup Gillan, Blackmore,Glover,Lord and Paice, and this may have been Blackmore final tour before he left? I think this was the first time of seeing Deep Purple live. The setlist was hugely their top tracks. They’re Made in Japan still one of the greatest live albums imo. Deep Purple May 16, 2026
James Doerr If you like the Allman Brothers Band, you must see Live At The Fillmore, they’re note for note outstanding! Live At The Fillmore / Wishgarden May 16, 2026
Flambeau Brilliant electronic band from the 80’s with keen interest shown to be signed to a major record deal by Simon Napier-Bells NOMIS management company. Brilliant electronic music that should have been listened to by a far wider audience. The band finished playing far too soon. Figures of Authority May 16, 2026
