john burke I could not believe I saw them in this little club! There were maybe 50 people. Ralph aka Michael Star from atomic punks opens the show! There were some kids there from Sweden too and what a thrill for them to see their legands in the USA up front! Amazing show! Europe Sep 06, 2025

WolvoExPunk That looks more like a UK Decay set. I saw the UK Subs at Brum Cedar Club on the same tour. The set list was more like, Emotinal Black, ail, CID, I Couldn't Be You, I Live In A Car, Tomorrows Girls... UK Subs Sep 06, 2025
WolvoExPunk I was at this gig. The Straps supported. Afterwards, the coppers refused to let us on the station to doss in the waiting room. Me and my mate and some Punks from Rotherham ended up dossing in a stairwell of some flats, shivering til about 5am, when we went back to the station, in the waiting room. Hugging the radiators. The Damned Sep 06, 2025
stepsix At some point prior to Sep 17th, Black Flag agreed to play an encore of the Mabel’s performance for a group of high school students who could not get past the bouncer at the bar. Eric and Naomi Jakobsson opened their house in Urbana to the band and a group of 40 high school students after their 15 year old son Eric was turned away. The police showed up by 9:30 pm that night to shut things down. Photos by Steve Buyansky of the house concert and an article are available in The Daily Illini of 17 Sep 1982, Pg 35 Black Flag / Nig-Heist Sep 06, 2025

Dave W. Sounded good from the vestibule. I definitely think they could’ve crammed 17-18 more people in so everyone comedically poured out like a looney tunes human tidal wave once the show let out. The Hold Steady / Thick Lizzy Sep 06, 2025
ronni grey ⭐️ wow we made eye contact at least 10 times. that never happens at any concerts i go to. amazing. Finn Wolfhard / The Slaps Sep 06, 2025
stephenhuerta 09/05/2025 Update: Well I’m here, at The Foro Independencia, and I forgot my earplugs, oh well, it won’t be the first time, hahaha. I’m meeting with Oleg, the Russian guitarist from Purple Hermits, he too is coming to see APTBS. I’m looking forward to his company. I’m the 5th person in line, I’m dedicated, LOL! I got up at 5:00am, arrived in GDL at 2:00pm, on schedule. This is my first time seeing APTBS, I like to think of them as an experimental rock band. Well, I’m ready. A Place To Bury Strangers / Sexores / Trace Amount Sep 05, 2025
Ubergherkin I remember this ended on a bum note, a stage diver landed badly on the audience barrier and I think Propagandhi's set cut short because of it. But they did play some of my faves Haillie Sellasse, Up Your Ass and Back to the Motor League. 2 good supports too, good old Goobers and Random Hand who never fail to bring it. Propagandhi / Random Hand / Goober Patrol Sep 05, 2025
