 spanishjohnny72 🇮🇹 Ancora una volta il nostro Rod the Mod ci stupisce per la sua forma fisica da splendido ottantenne. In un Forum tutto esaurito per l'occasione, incanta con la propria voce graffiante per un centinaio di minuti, un po' pochi rispetto agli standard abituali delle star internazionali, ma sicuramente determinati dall'energia profusa nel canto e nel ballo su ogni singolo pezzo. La voce non è più quella di un tempo, ma per assurdo influisce negativamente solo sui brani particolarmente melodici e sulle ballate pure ("The first cut is the deepest" è stato uno dei pezzi meno riusciti della serata), mentre rimane inalterata nelle fasi rock e soul. Accompagnato da una band eccellente che sembra uscita dal Caesar's Palace di Las Vegas, con cambi d'abito più frequenti di quelli di Beyoncé (cit. @yama_drawings ), la carrellata antologica ci ha emozionato e divertito ONE LAST TIME. Buona vita, Sir Rod! Grazie di tutto e sempre forza Celtic 🍀 Top five: 1) I'd rather go blind 2) I don't want to talk about it 3) Sailing 4) If you don't know me by now 5) It's a heartache 🇬🇧 Once again, our Rod the Mod amazes us with his incredible fitness at the splendid age of eighty. In a sold-out Forum for the occasion, he captivates the audience with his raspy voice for around a hundred minutes—a bit short by international star standards, but certainly a result of the energy he pours into singing and dancing through every single song. His voice is no longer what it once was, but ironically, it only negatively affects the particularly melodic tracks and pure ballads ("The First Cut Is the Deepest" was one of the evening’s less successful performances), while it remains strong in the rock and soul moments. Backed by an excellent band that looked like it came straight out of Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas—with more outfit changes than Beyoncé (credit: @yama_drawings)—the anthology-style set moved and entertained us ONE LAST TIME.  spanishjohnny72 Mi sono accostato al concerto di ieri sera di Riccardo Cocciante senza grandi aspettative. Lo valutavo un grandissimo autore degli anni Settanta e Ottanta, ormai relegato ai margini della musica italiana. Invece, è stato uno spettacolo assolutamente straordinario: accompagnato da un'orchestra di quindici elementi, Cocciante si è rivelato un (quasi) ottantenne in grandissima forma fisica e dotato ancora di una graffiante voce. Nonostante i notevoli problemi di audio che hanno caratterizzato i primi tre o quattro brani, lo show è presto decollato e si è trasformato in un lunghissimo viaggio di trentuno classici immortali.  Erik Kapteijns Eigenlijk wist ik alleen dat dit punkband was die in Nederlands zingt, maar dat is een onderschatting. Enorme energie, korte nummers (44 in 1 uur), super maatschappij kritisch (vaak niet onterecht) en het dak eraf, jammer dat er wat weinig publiek was.
