Quaka Venue was way to small and didnt really offer much. Support Bands were mid at best. Superheaven themselves were awesome. Superheaven / Phantom Bay / Yeahrs Jun 12, 2025

stepsix While ASUCI financed the show, Skratch Magazine (who threw punk-ska nights at the Shack in Anaheim every Tues) booked the bands. I was a college rep for MCA helping promote the show around OC, giving out free CDs, etc. at the event. 4-GAZM / Longfellow / Lone Raspberry Jun 12, 2025

Marc Havenner Joe Elliott - Tour Diary Quotes "Boy, we have pulled a fast one tonight! It's election day, and we're playing the Capital Centre, Landover, which is basically Washington, DC! So I get one of the local guys to go get me a stars 'n' stripes top hat for the Uncle Sam look to add to the obvious carnival atmosphere that there should be tonight. Think, I'll save it for the encore..." "We've got an information network second to none tonight, passing details of the election to the stage via walkie-talkies, TV monitors, you name it. Wish we'd been able to do this in Britain!" "So we do the gig, which is going really well, with yours truly cracking jokes all night long about the three candidates (it became pretty obvious we're in Perot country here!). Don't think I should give up my day job yet, but the line about "I won't be talking politics tonight" - which of course I did - went down well when I said - "Well, like most politicians, I LIED!"! Not quite Rik Mayall, but good enough for a white boy from Sheffield! Def Leppard Jun 12, 2025
Marc Havenner Def Leppard played a show on the Adrenalize tour in Largo/Landover, MD on 3rd November 1992 and an archive tour diary is available to read. Joe Elliott wrote a tour diary for Kerrang! Magazine after the show which took place at the Capital Centre. The band's first visit to this arena since January 1988 on the Hysteria tour. The show coincided with U.S. Election night and they marked the occasion by playing Alice Cooper's 'Elected'. A song which was last played in June 1987 in Holland with the live recording ending up as one of the 'Adrenalize' single B Sides. The inclusion of this and the 'S.M.C.' acoustic instrumental meant it was probably the longest show, setlist wise, of the 1992/1993 North American tour. Def Leppard Jun 12, 2025

Amy🫩🫰 Manifesting I get vip tickets so I made this lol in advance Wave To Earth Jun 12, 2025
Amy🫩🫰 Also you guys be careful picking what seats or sections you get at this venue … I was sitting at section 243 Seat 16 Row 13 and there was a HUGE pole blocking the view and blocked the speech parts and main performances! straykids Jun 12, 2025
Papa D Two entries has Gabes as venue but it was actually the Wildwood Saloon. Check photos below, Gabes doesn't have the wood framing above the stage. Bobaflex / Dark Sky Choir Jun 12, 2025
grissiana Girl when I say I lucked out getting these tickets. I missed his tour last year cause of work. Then the first show completely sold out, so they added a late show and that sold out too! I had so much fun I’m not even kidding. From the very first song until the last one I was so pumped up and jumping around in the crowd. I’ve been a big fan of MICO since he was covering Panic! At the Disco on tik tok 😂 anyways this is definitely top 5 concert experiences for me MICO / Ashley Mehta Jun 12, 2025
grissiana Also the opener Chxrry was so good. I only knew one song by her but I left there with about 5 new ones in my library FLO / Chxrry22 Jun 12, 2025
grissiana love these girls DOWN! The vocals they delivered were transcendent. They run r&b rn if you ask me idc FLO / Chxrry22 Jun 12, 2025
grissiana If I ever said anything else was the best concert experience of my life, I was lying because it’s THIS! The fact that I decided the night before to buy my ticket and drove there that day and drive straight back home that night was crazy as hell of me, but I do not regret it one bit! That lady was late, the stadium was crowded asf, and it was raining, but I still had one of the best nights of my life! Experiencing Beyoncé in club renaissance??? What the hell!? Is life even real??? Live laugh love Beyoncéeeee Beyoncé Jun 12, 2025
grissiana Didn’t listen to any LOONA until right before the boycott so I didn’t know a lot of the songs, but I am a huge fan of ARTMS, LOOSEMBLE, Chuu, and Yves separate careers. That being said why didn’t they do more songs from their album Dall???😭😭😭 they didn’t even do Flower Rhythm or Butterfly Effect bro wtf. I was devestated. It was a lot of fun tho. Would def see them again ARTMS Jun 11, 2025
Tess Peterson This was an amazing, one of a kind show. Just good ol Charley by his lonesome, singing to just me…and like 100 other people. It was special. It was nice. I felt lucky. Charley Crockett / Sean Hayes Jun 11, 2025
grissiana I swear I say this after every concert but not kidding this was one of the greatest live music experiences I have ever been to. The way this lady commands a stage MY GOD!
