grissiana I swear I say this after every concert but not kidding this was one of the greatest live music experiences I have ever been to. The way this lady commands a stage MY GOD!  TammiRocker It was a great concert. I kept my ticket, and still have it after 31 years. Arlo Guthrie Jun 11, 2025
Paul Dunham This show was put on by Rocky Morelli (Mag 7) while he was still at Bullard High School. It was held at a warehouse just east of Blackstone/Abbey. It was cold but a great show and dance. I was there with Rich Faulkner when we were sophomores. The Beach Boys Jun 11, 2025
Stuart_Taubel The concert in Central Park was on the Great Lawn, not Rumsey Playfield, which is much smaller and enclosed. I was there. The Beach Boys / Ricci Martin Jun 11, 2025

JimmyMiexle This was the 1st RHCP's show that us 3 went to. Annika, Stacy & I. Since it was so close to Halloween I talked them into dressing up. They did and we got our seats upgraded to the closest special access area by a young usher lol. Supposedly people behind us were complaining bc we were standing or dancing like 90% of the crowd. Of course he invited them to a party after the show, but by then they were drunk.. Also had to change a rear tire on I70. I was lucky it went flat just after we got thru a 4 mile stretch of 2 lanes, 1West & 1 East with the concrete barriers about 12" from my car. Great Show by the way..  Heather Harmon I'll never forget this concert, I was already super excited for the other three bands but me and my best friend walk in and hearing suicide silence for the first time and then walking in and seeing mark, dk and garza spinning their hair in unison and then mitch opened his mouth and I looked at my friend and said 'I don't know what this is but I love it!'  JimmyMiexle I do believe they were promoting the ™°Born Again with this tour. Black Sabbath Jun 11, 2025
JimmyMiexle I remember that this was a very long show. Towards the end we got up to go relieve ourselves and stretch. The entire back half of Market Sq. was filled with dry ice fog even the hallways and bathrooms. It was a very good show. Genesis Jun 11, 2025

Ben Connor I was 12 for this concert and a massive U2 fan. My older sisters boyfriend, now husband, was waiting in line for the 4th U2 concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and approaching the office when they announced the 5th concert, so he got front row seats. Half way through the performance, bono picked me out of the front row, asked my sister my name, put his sweaty hat on me, put me on his shoulders and sang Pride with the first line changed to ‘One man come by the name of Ben’ My only claim to fame.. Got no photos though. If anyone was at that concert and got photos of me up there I’d love it if u sent them through. U2 / B.B. King / Weddings Parties Anything Jun 11, 2025
Marc Havenner Venue / Capital Centre Event / An evening with Def Leppard The first show by the band in this city since January 1988 on the Hysteria tour. The fourth time at this venue. This show was played at one end of the venue due to weight issues. The arena had been set up for a Washington Capitals ice hockey match. The band would eventually play In The Round here in 1992 with the lighter 'Adrenalize' stage. The venue is located in Landover/Largo which are both described as unincorporated areas/communities rather than towns or cities. Largo is actually 10 miles south east of Landover and 18 miles east of Washington DC. Landover is 9 miles east of Washington DC. like many other venues this one is either described as being in one of two places but is actually within Largo. It was opened in December 1973 and demolished in December 2002 after being closed in 1999 and demolished in December 2002. A show played on US Election night when Bill Clinton was voted into office. Joe announced this before the band played 'Elected' to a non-reaction from the crowd who mostly supported his rival. This moment, 'Let's Get Rocked' and 'Elected' are not featured on the video recording. 'S.M.C.' made a rare return to the setlist. A decent quality audience filmed video exists from this show.
