stephenhuerta 06/07/2025: As usual, I’m not familiar with any of these bands music, only what I’ve read about, and word of mouth. My good friend Kimo speaks highly of all three bands, and Román and Juan Tamayo, both members of Vinnum Sabbathi (CDMX), speak highly of them too. I’ve been told not to miss this show, so I’m going. I’ll be in San Diego for some Dr’s appts, so I’m taking in a show, with Perro and Kimo. It’ll be fun. I’ll keep you posted. Dozer / Moon Destroys / Abrams / Mezzoa Jun 07, 2025
stephenhuerta My first time seeing Magma, and let me tell you, they were hot, I mean incredible. Christian Vander and the band have their shit together. Probably the most intense show I’ve ever seen at Slim’s (they’re closed now, which is really sad), and it was my favorite venue in San Francisco. Magma played the whole evening, no opening act, which was fine by me. With my dinner ticket, and the first in line, I had the best seat in the house, balcony, dead center.  stephenhuerta Hey lilmikesf, here it is June 2025, and I just read your comment. Thanks for the recognition. I had read on some website that The Crazy World of Arthur Brown was on a small tour, there was now way I could pass that up. I didn’t see Arthur Brown in the 60’s or 70’s (I’m 71 years old), though I would have loved to. With Acid King on the same bill, once again, there was no way I could miss this show. This was my second time seeing Acid King, an amazing stoner doom band. I now live in Mexico, so I’m hoping to see Acid King here in Guadalajara soon. Don’t stop going to shows, it keeps you young, trust me, I know what I’m talking about, LOL. Stephen Huerta, Nayarit, Mexico. Crazy World of Arthur Brown / Acid King / Electric Citizen Jun 07, 2025

David Cavan Steven Tyler got mad because some jerks on the floor were throwing firecrackers on stage. I saw him spit at a big ol' lugie at somebody on the floor, probably in retaliation for a firecracker that blew up too close for comfort. A fan threw a cardboard pizza circle and knocked Joey Krammer's high hat over. Tyler picks up the cardboard circle and throws in back into the crowd as he said "God damn fuckin' hippie!"  David Cavan Sadly, Muddy Waters was booed off the stage. BB King played a set and was better received by the crowd. Eric Clapton was as expected, brilliant. "Cocaine" had everybody singing the chorus. Eric Clapton / Muddy Waters / BB Kings Allstars Jun 07, 2025

IanH Lionel Richie was his usual brilliant self with an awesome backing band he rolled out his catalogue of hits that were interjected with great humour. However 'Concert culture' seems to be rapidly changing. Why do people need to chatter to each other throughout gigs, and why are they always near to me. And why do people need to get up and go the toilet every few minutes, and then go to the bar and then go the toilet again and repeat and repeat...brushing past and interfering with the enjoyment of the show. Hey ho. Lionel Richie / Brooke Combe Jun 07, 2025
dancorcoran Dean had a back up band of great local musicians; the opening trio of young ladies had amazing vocal harmonies (The Friendship Quilt) and joined Dean for a encore song. And Dean works his own merch table! Dean Johnson / The Friendship Quilt Jun 07, 2025

dancorcoran Amazing show, they had two live horns on stage. I was *ahem* in altered states right in front of the stage all night. This was the incarnation of this venue (now Nuemos) where the stage was facing opposite of it's current side. Death In Vegas Jun 07, 2025
RockerRoller70634 A great show! All the groups were good and OneRepublic proved their worth as entertainers! Well worth the extra $$$ to be in the third row. The Woodlands is a great venue. OneRepublic / Fitz and the Tantrums / James Arthur Jun 07, 2025
