Queen's 1976 Concert History

Queen is a British rock band formed in London in 1970. It emerged with Freddie Mercury (vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass) at the helm and quickly became a pioneer of stadium and arena rock with hits like "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Will Rock You," “Under Pressure” (with David Bowie), and “Another One Bites the Dust.” After Mercury's tragic death in 1991 from AIDS-related complications, the band continued with various guest vocalists including Elton John (1997) and George Michael (1992-1993). In 2004, Paul Rodgers officially stepped in as the lead vocalist, forming Queen + Paul Rodgers. This collaboration lasted until 2009. Two years later, the band partnered with Adam Lambert, creating Queen + Adam Lambert, which continues touring globally. In 2018, the band's legacy was commemorated with the Freddie Mercury biopic, "Bohemian Rhapsody."
