I'm pretty sure Wolfgang Press wasn't the support for this gig. I remember it being a weird (most probably icelandic) band. Wolfgang Press did support the Pixies at the same venue the following year.

Elvis Presley was my first concert. I was 4 years old. I do remember a little bit of it and I was terrified cuz all the women were crying. I remember Elvis throwing towels into the audience.

I was there both nights man! After all, my home town, 4 blocks from my house, next to "The Big House!" University of Michigan stadium right next door. That week was AWSOME!! MICHIGAN BASKETBALL just Won the National championship basketball 🏀 trophy 🏆 against Seton hall w/ a nail bitten 1 pt. Win w/ two foul shots!! Hash bash was Saturday, and the Grateful Dead in myyyy home town!! Bad tooooo the bone!! Yes, they even put speakers all around the OUTSIDE of the arena so everyone on Shakedown st. Could hear the ENTIRE shows!! Digging that!! Peace love kenny!!

June 22nd, 1995 at Cal Expo in Sacramento. Pearl Jam live under a full moon on a perfect Summer evening. This was just a perfect show. This one is in my top 5 shows of all time. I've seen PJ around 20 times and this easily was the very best.

June 24th, 1995 in Golden Gate Park in San Fransisco. Pearl Jam with Neil Young. This is the infamous show where Eddie Vedder soldiered through 7 songs with Pearl Jam and then had to leave the stage because of food poisoning. What happened next was a dream come true for me- Pearl Jam fronted by Neil Young, who led the band through a 2 hour set that just killed. They played 'Rockin' In The Free World' in the middle of the set, then played it again for the encore, where Neil just put everything he had into that last song, and really showed PJ how it was done. This was the 2nd of 2 Pearl Jam shows in 3 days for me and my favorite PJ experience. For me they'll never top those 2 shows. Just amazing.
