Jason Worthley Hellzapoppin' Sideshow[show #105] I was mostly there to see Static X and Black Label. BL was great, Zack can really wail on that guitar. I was a bit disappointed that Static X didn't play longer though. I didn't like Suicide Silence and felt jipped that Dope and Bury Your Dead wasn't even there. I'm not much into Mudvayne anymore but I hung around for a bit. I ditched Jen cause of her new boyfriend (you're welcome by the way), probably be the last for us, and I hung out with Terry and some guys that work at Shaws. The Sideshow was fucked up, kinda reminded me of the Jim Rose Circus Sideshow. Suicide Silence / Mudvayne / Black Label Society / Static-X Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #103] Always good to have Disturbed back in the area. The day was great from the beginning. I met Disturbed and Killswitch and got their autographs. :) Lacuna Coil was pretty good, the crowd responded well. Chimaira seemed a bit heavy for this lineup but they were still good. Killswitch, a great bunch of guys, were real good and of course Disturbed rocked as usual. Disturbed / Killswitch Engage / Lacuna Coil / Chimaira / Suicide Silence Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #102] This was a really good show. It was nice to be able to sit and watch something like that and though it was acoustic, it still rocked. Godhead put on a good show. I don't think I ever heard them really; non-acoustic but this set was great. I didn't really care for Shenkar, he opened up with a good one I guess but his voice just got annoying. I think he did some work on the "Queen of the Damned" soundtrack with Jonathan. He also played violin for Jonathan's set but his violin was turned up way too high. Jonathan's set was great; he sat in a tall wooden chair with lion's heads carved in the arm-rests and red velvet cushions. He played the entire "Queen of the Damned" soundtrack, some modified versions of a few Korn songs, Neil Diamond's "Love on the Rocks", New Order's "Blue Monday", and Duran Duran's "The Chauffer". He even mentioned Head ("My boy, Head) when talking about when he wrote a song and showed love for the guy. It was good to know there's no bad blood between them.  Jason Worthley [show #101] Alrighty, Dino Cazares' [ex-Fear Factory] own Divine Heresy kicked off the show and f'n rocked. They were even down a man (the lead singer broke his foot in a fall) and the bassist took over as lead vocalist and they STILL rocked. Tony Campos of Static X came out and jammed with them on the Slayer cover of Angel of Death (that rocked too!!)! And Dino tossed out some DH guitar picks...and I got one. 3 Inches of blood also rocked, we were off to a good start. Shadows Fall were quite popular, the pits were insane. I honestly don't see what people get from them cause they just don't do it for me...I don't know what it is. But Mr. Wayne Static and his crew kicked buttocks as usual. There were times I thought the damn floor was going to collapse beneath us. Static-X / Shadows Fall / 3 Inches Of Blood / Divine Heresy Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #99] Texas born The Showdown were great. Their music was a mix of southern rock and metal. The crowd was already pumped by the end of their set. I didn't really care for Protest the Hero. Some of it had a good beat but then the tempo would change constantly, and the singer's voice was too screechy. I really liked All That Remains, they sounded like a cross between Hatebreed and Chaimira. Shadows Fall was good too, but I was in the other room for the set and my attention kept going to the cute waitress in the pink shirt and the cute blonde that smiled at me and hit me in the leg. ;) Shadows Fall / All That Remains / Protest the Hero / The Showdown Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #98] Sardona, from Australia really wasn't my cup of tea...but the last song really rocked. Dirty Little Rabbits was great. Female singer that came out with her hair in pigtails kinda creeped me out but she was good. The band had a circus-esque type sound. The drummer, who happens to be Clown from Slipknot, took a drink from a water bottle and tossed it to the crowd, right into my arms. I took a swig myself and tossed it behind me, so now I can say I shared a water with Clown :). Stone Sour completely rocked as usual, the pits were great. You can tell how much Corey loves the biz when everyone sings along to "Bother" and he just stares at them with a huge smile on his face, eyes glazed. Stone Sour / Dirty Little Rabbits / Sardona Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #97] Kinda a disappointment. I didn't really care for Big Business, the drummer was the best, but they had their moments of interest. I do like Tool, wanted to see them again since I only last saw them in '98, and their songs are quite long enough...I don't think they needed to have 4-5 minute long musical interludes in between each song. $64 bucks was way too much for a ticket to see one and a half bands (this isn't country after all) and the $38 T-Shirts are ridiculous. The light show started to be intriguing at the end though. Tool / Big Business Dec 05, 2023

Jason Worthley [show #96] I'm glad we decided to go to Hershey Park a second time cause we got more out of it this time. Like seeing Joan Jett!! She still rocks...and looks pretty damn good too. I finally got to see "I Love Rock N Roll" played live...and even snuck a short video clip with my digital camera. :) Don't worry Joan, I don't like the "Turkish Twist" either. ;) Joan Jett & The Blackhearts Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #95] Wow, this is my first time at The Station and boy is it small. It was weird seeing Powerman play here...but they did what they always do: Rocked the place!! I wasn't too into A New Vision, Cage 9, and Hour-Past but they were alright. But Maine's very own Deadseason kicked major ass! I can't believe I never heard them till now. I definitely want to see them again. Powerman 5000 / Hour Past / Cage 9 / Dead Season / A New Vision Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #93] Not sure if Epcot has different bands playing every week or what but this is my first 80's band. They were pretty good. Still look like they're having fun. It was only a half hour though but still counts. :) Loverboy Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #88] Finally a show I can be 100% satisfied with. Bobaflex rocked as usual; it's nice to see that their fanbase is growing. I'm interested to see where they are in a few years. I'm not much into 10 Years but I admit they were real good. The song they play on the radio (Wasteland) was great. Sevendust kicked ass as usual, it's always a pleasure to be on the floor during their set. Kenny got a bloody nose during the first song but he was fine. That's what we call a "rock show baptism", it's happened to the best of us. :) We told him we hoped he learned a valuable lesson: "Don't block with your face." Mudvayne rocked!! I was soo beat by the end, but it was great fun. Mudvayne / Sevendust / 10 Years / Bobafex Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #87] This tour had the potential to be one of the biggest and best that I've ever been to--but it had the exact opposite effect. First off, the show was supposed to start at 7pm, we arrived at 6pm just intime to catch the end of Nevermore's set. Then, instead of having a second stage, or a rotating stage, they split the tour up between the Civic Center and State Theatre. All the sets were way too short at both venues. I didn't really care for Dillinger Escape Plan. Fear Factory's set was waaay too short, they deserve more respect than that. I was looking forward to them the most. I was surprised that I liked Dream Theatre, but they're songs are way too long and drawn out. We had to skip Megadeth cause we were told that the State Theatre shows start at 9pm, we got there expecting to miss part of Boba Flex, turns out we were early cause it didn't start until 10:15. So we missed all of Megadeth for nothing. But I did get to talk to one of the singers of Boba Flex. In short, Boba Flex, Dry Kill Logic, and Life of Agony were all great except the sound really sucked. Too loud, even for me. Didn't care for Symphony X but the music was cool I did run into Rusty and Steve which was cool to see them again. I expected better of this tour. Gigantour Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #82] Well, God Forbid actually opened up first but Todd and I missed them cause we arrived too late. I was suppose to meet Allison there but her and her b/f were way up front and we all know that I'd rather be in the pits. I wish I could have met her though...maybe some other time. Hatebreed was awesome as usual. Slipknot was killer. Corey had the whole floor got down on their knees and then jumped up at the same time during a song. We moshed hard during Slipknot. Slayer was great as usual. I love to hear the old stuff. People were getting tired though from the moshing during Slipknot. They also were filming footage for a home video. I hope I'm in it. :) Slipknot / Slayer / Hatebreed / God Forbid Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #81] Well, Captain Cutthroat sounded like a cross between Sam Black Church and Mushroomhead but they just could not pull it off. I didn't care for them. Dementia 13 was a cross between Sick of it all and the Misfits. I thought they were pretty good. First Shove sounded a lot like Hatebreed and I thought they were great. LOA ruled like they were never away, and it was great to see them again. Too bad Steve and Sarah slept through them in the car. :) Life Of Agony / First Shove / Dementia 13 / Captain Cutthroat Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #80] Would have liked to have heard a longer set from Dry Kill Logic. Arch Enemy wasn't my cup of tea. Hatebreed and Slayer both kicked ass. Plus, I got a Jagermusic CD and a poster and had Tom Araya (Slayer) sign it along with Paul Booth (Tattoo artist). Slayer / Hatebreed / Arch Enemy / Dry Kill Logic Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #76] Ransome kinda sucked, dcm were pretty cool, audioblack was not my cup of tea; everyone kinda booed them. But, Mudvayne kicked ass and the pits were pretty intense. Mudvayne / Audioblack / DCM / Ransom Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley [show #75] Rusty and I showed up way early, so we got in free and got to hang out with Maniacal the whole time. They're a pretty cool group of guys. Notion was OK but they need to stick with one genre of music. It was hard to tell where they belong. Maniacal / Notion Dec 05, 2023
Jason Worthley Otep was the only reason I went to this and they didn't show for some reason. Kittie / Clockwise / Acacia / Stepa / Otep Dec 05, 2023
