Gregory Linton I saw ABWH twice, this was the first time seeing Bill and Steve and it was well worth it. I'm not sure which show it was or maybe both but at one point Bill came out to the front of the stage and sat on what looked like a wooden crate and played that! I'm thinking it might have been an old Cajon, it was amazing what he could do with that. Also I'll never forget Jon appearing on the floor out of the audience, I remember some guy running down from steps and leaping over the lower rails so he could run towards him, it was shocking to see him down there singing on the floor of the Spectum in the crowd, I'll never forget that. Athough Chris wasn't there, Tony Levin is one of the worlds best bassist and it was great to see him fill in. Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe Mar 01, 2021
Gregory Linton This was such a good expirience, it was a small venue and his stories were stellar, you had to laugh, he could easily have been a comedian instead of a musician. I remember he played Morning has Broken, but its been too many years to recall what else he played. I'm glad to have been able to see him do a show. Rick Wakeman Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton Having seen them at the Monsters Of Rock tour, this was less exciting, I'd grown used to Sammy Hagar. Gary was not so great, but the band was still tight, and it was cool to hear some songs I hadn't heard live before. Van Halen / Fuel Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton This was a great one for Tom and I, since Tommy Shaw opened, being Styx fans as well, he sounded great. Also this was the first show we got to hear La Villa Stangiato, which was blistering! Rush / Tommy Shaw Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton Jons voice continues to astound me, he sounded so good on this tour. They played mostly newer songs, but the old classics sounded great as well. Yes Feb 28, 2021
wharten If this was the Bananas Tour then Thin Lizzy was NOT on the bill. I was there . Deep Purple / Caramba / Thin Lizzy Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton Seeing Pink Floyd was legendary, I've seen great light shows with Rush, Yes, ZZ Top, but nothing compares to what Pink Floyd does, the giant disco ball in the center of the stadium, later breaking open to reveal a flower, the giant pig, the plane crashing, the laser and of course the sound system is the best, steller show. Pink Floyd Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton The greatest thing about Boston is that since they only have a handful of Albums, they play almost everything in concert. They played the entire Third Stage Album from beginning to end. They had a huge pipe organ that Tom Sholtz played and the sound quality was excellent. Brads voice was flawless. What a show!! Boston / Fahrenheit Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton This was a wild show, the crowd was crazy, I'd never heard any of these bands before, I regret not knowing who Metallica were at the time, it was so early in their career, I do remember what looked like a home made Metallica banner across the front of the stage, but not much else. Van Halen sounded amazing, and it was the best to be able to here Eruption! Eddie at his best. I remember my brother being disappointed that they didn't play Pretty Women. Van Halen / Scorpions / Dokken / Metallica / Kingdom Come Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton This was the first show I was at that I was close, our seats were 6 rows from the stage, they put on a spectacle, still not sure how they did the spinning guitars and vanished trick, but they sounded great. What a band, love when a 3 piece can do so much. ZZ Top / Honeymoon Suite Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton I love that Rush had such good opening bands, Blue Oyster Cult I would have liked to have seen on their own, but I was glad to have seen them here. Also playing parts 1 and 2 of 2112 was great!!! My favorites were of course YYZ, Subdivisions, The Trees, Territories, Witch Hunt. The light show was quite incredible, they really push the boundries. Blue Öyster Cult / Rush Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton My brother is responsible for me seeing this one, needed a driver and said he'd get me a ticket, never have I seen one person hold an audience like that, all of those stories of the lights coming on and him playing for another hour or more are true. Loved this show!! He was at his peak and the audience was great in Philly. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton It was great to be able to see this band with these members, Richie Blackmore was not like any guitarist I'd seen before, he played on the mikestand, the edge of the stage, part of Ian Paice drums, on speaks, using other things as well. Also John Lord was cool to see him moving that massive organ so far we thought it would fall over on him. Great show with a good mix of old and new, must admit the smoke across the stage was perfect for the end of the show.. Deep Purple / Giuffria Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton 1st time seeing RUSH, not something you forget, they put on an incredible show, my best friend Tom loved RUSH, and so did I. Highlight would have to be the drum solo, we had never seen anything like that. It was a great mix of old and new material. And musically only eclipsed by the first time hearing La Villa Stangiato and Natural Science. Rush / Y&T Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton My 1st time seeing my favorite band and my 1st time at an indoor concert. Saw them from the back side of the stage, I clearly remember Jon at one point saying that we all have to be quiet for the next song as it was being recorded, but when he started the first line of Soon, the audience went crazy and he gave them this look like, 'what did I tell you" and then he crushed us with his voice going right over top of the audience. I'll never forget that. At the time I was fairly impressed with Trevor covering Steves parts at least till I saw Steve at future shows. For me at the time Starship Trooper was the highlight as Chris very loud Taurus pedals were awesome. Yes Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton It was my 1st concert, one I'll never forget . The Who / The Clash / Santana / The Hooters Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton Remember someone hitting Joe Strummer in the head with an orange, also I remember that they used the Who sound system which was the only time at a concert that my hands automatically went to my ears, I remember looking around and everyone had their hands over their ears its was loud. The Who / The Clash / Santana / The Hooters Feb 28, 2021
Gregory Linton Horribly my concert ticket has been missing for years, I remember the Clash, but what other bands opened, was it The Hooters, and maybe another? The Who / The Clash / Santana / The Hooters Feb 28, 2021
Mark Ralston I remember an incredible laser light show during the Doobie Brothers set. The Beach Boys / The Doobie Brothers / Jeff Beck / Firefall / ozark mountain daredevils Feb 28, 2021
lone have to pin down year yet, Breeding's ticket stubs don't show the year! Lonnie Brooks / The Metropolitan Blues All Stars / Hesitation Blues Band Feb 28, 2021
