Johnny Panic I have this listed as a free concert. Journey Feb 28, 2021
Dave O Rama Great show. They rehearsed this tour at an airplane hanger at the Toronto airport so this was the first show of the tour. A friend of mine from Britain had replaced Roger waters on bass, so he gave me some tickets to the show. His name is Guy Pratt. Pink Floyd Feb 28, 2021
Dave O Rama I went to this show to see the Ramones and Johnny Winter. I was only 18 at the time but I had already seen the Ramones in 1976 and I was a huge fan. I was also a big Johnny Winters fan. The rest I couldn't care much about, especially Nugent. So when the Ramones came on I was up and cheering. Meanwhile every other rocker at the festival just aimed hatred at the Ramones and the crowd booed them and pelted them with garbage. The Ramones finally flipped them all the bird and walked off in disgust. It was a mass example of how I was treated at parties during this time when I would try to get my punk rock records played. So, the playlist here is really not correct. I figured the Ramones got through 5 songs tops, maybe 6 before they were booed off the stage. Canadian World Music Festival Feb 28, 2021
Dave O Rama I'm not a fan of any of these bands but I was at this show. The Eagles brought R2D2 out on stage during the band's encore. Eagles / Little River Band / Eddie Money Feb 28, 2021
Dave O Rama I attended this concert and there may have been another act in addition to this one but I do clearly remember that Phil Collins' jazz fusion band Brand X opened for Genesis Genesis / Max Webster / Brand X Feb 28, 2021
Callum Henderson Performing the Songs and Poems of Molly Drake The Unthanks Feb 27, 2021
br54knight Todd Snider did not take the stage at this festival, instead was in his bus and driving off as his set was to begin. He refused to perform his solo acoustic set because the festival headliners band equipment was set up on the stage behind him. Todd Snider / Chris Knight / The Suitcase Junket / Jeri Katherine Howell Feb 27, 2021
PapaG1119 Montrose was definitely rockin! Their drummer was incredibly muscular. Then Skynyrd came on and blew the roof off. So glad I saw them before the crash. When they were all down at the front of the stage playing guitars for the end of Free Bird it was an amazing experience. Lynyrd Skynyrd / Montrose Feb 27, 2021
Iamgas The band 707 also played this show before Billy Squire. Journey / Billy Squire / 707 Feb 27, 2021

Bill00 My memory is that each band played only two, but no more than three, songs, so a lot of down time changing out the bands. I remember Cake played The Distance. Allen Ginsburg opened the concert reciting a poem. Was my first time hearing any of the bands. I liked Cake and Orbital. I went on to be a Cake fan. I was underwhelmed by Beck, but that was probably just me not able to absorb anything more by that point. 1996 LIVE 105 Green Christmas Ball Feb 26, 2021

J Krump I see Billy Idol is listed playing McNichols in 2019. This is an error as the venue was torn down more than 20 years ago and is now a parking lot. Thousands Feb 23, 2021
