kirkasthemeld Bab Log III was also cool. He had a space helmet on with a telephone hooked up to it that he sang through. Man or Astroman? / Bob Log III Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was the EEVIAC tour and it was great. The band had a giant, old school computer on stage complete with lights and tape reels. It was otherworldly and highly entertaining. Man or Astroman? / Bob Log III Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was an alright show, but if IRC, Beck was sick and didn't put on his usual energetic show. Still fun. Beck / Hank Williams III Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was the best Lips show that I went to. It was on the Soft Bulletin tour and the band was in fine form. They had just started to really expand their stage show and it was really psychedelic. Some of the antics involved fake blood, puppets, and video feedback loops of the band as they played. It was great. Flaming Lips Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This one was a nightmare. Went with my wife at the time who was a fan, and I was DEFINITELY not a fan. The band played an 8 hour long set on New Years 2000. Eight hours of torture. Ugh. Phish Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was a weird one. I nearly got busted before I ever got into the show and the show was really strange. They turned all of the lights on when he played "Rainy Day Women" because they thought people were going to light up. Oh, Salina... Bob Dylan Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was an awesome show at City Market. Ween never ceased to impress and this show was no exception. The highlight for me was their cover of "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen. Ween Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was a fun show that I went to with my friend Shawn. My most vivid memory from the show, was this hilarious redneck couple who kept making out and bumping and grinding to Kansas. Kansas / Yes Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld If ever there were a band from outer-space, I imagine that Gong might be it. Daevid Allin was totally out there, and the show was trippy AF. Gong Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was a fantastic show at Memorial Hall. David was quirky and fun and seemed to be having a good time, until some dumbass person in the crowd kept yelling for them to play "Psychokiller". He did not look amused and neither was I, as the guy had yelled it during a quiet section of a song that was acoustic. David Byrne / Si*Sé Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was a super-fun show that I went to with my friend Shawn. As expected, the band was hilarious and weird. The highlight for me was the 5 minute long introduction to the Glockenspiel that they brought out to play one note on during a song. It was so funny! They Might Be Giants Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld Hell yeah! The Godfather of Punk. Iggy was great and he definitely still had/has it. He challenged the crowd to give him more and yelled at us for being "asleep". Very memorable. Iggy Pop Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was a really fun show. P-Funk was great and as weird as I had hoped that they would be. George Clinton And The P-Funk Allstars / Jazz Mandolin Project Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was the one. This is still, to this day, my favorite concert that I have been to. James took his time coming out on stage. A guy came out to hype the crowd, and the band played and I thought that it was an old, worn out JB, but it wasn't. Then JB came out and blew the crowd away. For being in his 70's, he moved with grace and led the band like a pro. It was so funky and great. I had an absolute blast. I have never seen a tighter band, and probably never will. James Brown Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld What a great show. We had good seats and McCartney did not disappoint. He played a good number of Beatles songs and the highlight of the show was his tribute to the late George Harrison, when he played "Something" on the uke. It was emotional and beautiful. Paul McCartney Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was fun, but an overall disappointment. Two of my favorite acts at the time, didn't mesh together too well. The Lips backed Beck during his set and didn't do justice to the songs, and the Lips set was mediocre at best. I did get in for free though, which was a bonus. The Flaming Lips / Beck Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was a really cool, really small show at the Replay lounge. Helios had a slew of effects pedals and put them all tastily to use. Helios Creed Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was a really fun show in Las Vegas. Weird Al was great and changed costumes after nearly every song. The medley was the highlight for me. Weird Al Yankovic Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld Cool show, by one of the most diverse bands that I know of. I don't recall much about it, since I've never been a huge fan, but it was good. Yo La Tengo Sep 12, 2019
kirkasthemeld This was a fun show. I believe that I was under the influence at this show and felt like the lead singer was the leader of a cult. The band had about 30 performers, IRC. The Polyphonic Spree / The Sleepy Jackson Sep 12, 2019
