Jumbo My brother hosted me for a weekend Raconteurs extravaganza! We had a hotel a block away from the venue (the picture of The Anthem sign from the side (Andrew Bird) was taken from our hotel. As we were scoping the line we ran into Lil Jack walking around the block and he was gracious enough to take a pic with me. We were 2nd/3rd row center, with only Third Man Records Vault Early Entry Contest winners (10 Vault members with plus ones) in front of us. We ate at about 5 different joints on the Wharf over the course of about 36 hours. And in the words of my brother, Jack White was like a Mack Truck out there. The whole band blew us away, and the planted stage crawling, dancing milkman was a funny touch at the end of Carolina Drama. The setlist shown here doesn't show that they played a snippet of Give Me Back My Wig by Hound Dog Taylor during Top Yourself, and GLORIA by Them (and covered by, you know, everyone: The Doors, Patti Smith, everyone else ever in a band!) during Don't Bother Me. Can't wait to see them in Raleigh, NC September 3rd. The Raconteurs / Jacuzzi Boys Aug 20, 2019

jazywu Aside from me not being a fan of the venue, the group made me forget all about it the second they started playing. Super talented and amazing live! The lights were probably the best I've seen in awhile and Lauren is so adorable! Hilarious, personable and just someone you'd wanna hang out with. Not many artists spend time talking with the audience; some talk at them, some recite a speech they've said over and over again. But not these guys. Definitely worthwhile if you're into their music. Sing and dance along with everyone in the crowd because there will not be one person standing still. Unless they're dragged there and hate having fun CHVRCHES / Speedy Ortiz Aug 20, 2019

anniebhunter Strangest concert I have ever attended. Went with my husband and his friend who were big Dead fans. Crazy spinning women in the hallways and the rag tag group of followers outside selling grilled cheese sandwiches and everything else. Sad note: a man came up to me and showed me a picture of his son, he asked me if I had seen him. His son was missing and was known to follow the Dead around the country. Really made me feel sad.
