 sPaGskEtTi I had the strangest experience hands down at this concert. I was 22 years old and weighed around 140 lbs wet. This was a sold out show and it was packed really really packed. This was the end of this tour for the band and they did three sold out shows for the city they made it in. It was a sea of people from the stage to the back wall in general admission. Me and my friend Troy were up front and started crowd surfing. I was up for a long time when all of the sudden I fell to the floor flat on my side. Well the concert was loud really loud. I was about 30% the way into the crowd and around 20 feet from the security in front of the stage. So when I fell as I was heading to the floor the crowd just closed like I was never there. Now laying on my side on the floor I noticed I could not hear the concert anymore. Not even bump from the bass. I pondered how I was going to get up as the pressure from the people standing was too much for me to stand up. It crossed my mind that I might be there till everyone leaves and if this is the case what are my chances of not being hurt or killed by trampling. I then thought again how strange it was not to hear the concert at all just shuffling feet. As I was back to pondering the silence again two sets of hands grabbed me and brought me to my feet. As I was heading to the surface the concert thunderous sound got louder and louder as I rose up out of the feet, legs and floor escaping the silent abyss till the concert was at full volume again. I often ponder that experience leading to a conversation I had one day with my friend Wendy. We were talking concerts and I told her that story. Now she goes to a lot of concerts, she told me "No Way, I have to try it I have never heard that before." I told her to let me know how it goes. She did try it at a concert she knelt down to tie her shoe. Yes it was silent. Down on the floor if I was to say how it felt, it was an eerie calm yet loaded with uncertainty. Pearl Jam Oct 13, 2025
 sPaGskEtTi The Rev. is missing a concert date. I saw them in the mid 1990's at the Seattle Center Memorial coliseum. I remember it well he had his big red bass. He would throw that huge bass up in the air and catch it while playing it. It was awesome to watch. Reverend Horton Heat Oct 13, 2025
 Paul Davey Great gig, had to start their set, with a couple of acoustic songs as keys player got lost, so twenty minutes late!! Great guitarist used six different guitars, played harp as well.  sPaGskEtTi I was at this concert. I remember The Reverend Horton Heat playing and Layne Staley blowing the concert off as they were supposed to play. The band members made fun of the band playing a tiny bit of one of Alice N Chains songs then telling them to fuck off. I will have to look up The Reverends concert list I could have them mixed up. Pain in the Grass started under the Space Needle in the early 90's In the summer time KISW had Pain in the Grass stage set up under the Space Needle and it was free to attend. I saw Gruntruck there 3-4 times. Pearl Jam even played the stage though they did not divulge they were, you only found out when they started playing. I worked a few blocks from the Seattle Center and would walk after work ever Friday in the summer to watch. Every up and coming Seattle Grunge band played that stage in the early 90's.  sPaGskEtTi I was at this concert. For two weeks the radio said be there at 8:30pm or you will be late. Well the traffic over i90 from Seattle to the Gorge was terrible due to a fatality on the freeway. We got there right at 8:30pm. Standing in line I was looking out over the Gorge Amphitheater and noticed a jumbo jet flying low over the desert heading straight for us. I got my friend Rocky's attention and said, "Hey Rocky look at that jet don't you think it is really low?" Just as he turned to look that jet buzzed the stage, hit the afterburners, veered to the right and headed back the way it came. Now if you were in the concert and in the area called, "THE BOWL" you would not know it was coming until it was right over you. Now there used to be a grainy video on YouTube but I cannot find it anymore. This was a year before 9-11 so you can bet this would never happen again in our lifetimes.  sPaGskEtTi When I was 19 years old I went on a date with this hot girl from work. She asked me after the date if I wanted to go with her and her friends to see a band in Seattle. "Fuk yeah" I said, So we go to this little dive under the Space Needle called "THE OZ" (Later I think it changed names to DV-8). It was $10 all ages to get in and playing on this tiny stage with maybe 30 people there was fucken NINE INCH NAILS Performing Pretty Hate Machine. I stood a few feet from the band in front of the speakers on the left side (My left) of the stage. It was not like I heard a song and decided I would check them out I got the full meal deal.  Georges A. Gauthier Julia Riolino is an incredible live performer. Her voice is jaw dropping, it has range, warmth & strength. Her presence on stage is relaxed & charmingly funny.
