Ubergherkin	I went to this with my friend Dani. All I remember is that Dani wanted to be right at the front and it seemed to be a lot of dad's with daughters being ott protective. Not my music and didn't really want to be there, been fine if we'd stayed at the back but that's not my mate's style. Cookie	I knew this was going to be a special night. My nephew Caelan was sick and couldn't make it, so I was left to my own devices. Diamond Construct were one of the support bands and my nephew's fav at the moment, and I can see why. As I approached the manning bar, I could hear the first support act Diamond Construct laying down some belters. I managed to record some of their set including Psychosis, which Caelan mentioned to me. The second band was Orthodox. I have never heard of them but, they are a force of nature. Good lord, they put some energy and power into their shows. Stray From The Path, THE MIGHTY and LOUD Stray From The Path. the crowd went nuts as they opened with a new track Kubrick Stare, Needful things and Chest Candy. which the crowd lapped up and the pit was heaving with loads of crowd surfing. when they launched into Guillotine, the place erupted, they said there is no way we are walking off stage, then coming back for an encore, they finished with a classic Fortune Teller from their 2019 album Internal Atomic. Sadly, we will never see them tour again as after this world tour, they will part ways, as friends and as brothers, we owe you so much but thanks and love is all we fans have. THANK YOU STRAY... As I was leaving the venue, I saw the members from Diamond Construct by their merch table and had a chat with the lead singer Kynan, a very nice bloke and he kindly did a shout-out video for my nephew (video below) Big uncle points right there...
