 5fives Two bands opened up for Y&T at this concert. The first was a hip/hop band from Oakland called 415 (the area code for Oakland, at the time), The second was the well-known hair metal band Slaughter. I did see this show, at the Crest Theatre in 1990, and saw all three bands. Y&T Aug 17, 2025

 James Adams Stood in line over night at a record store, for tickets. It was sleeting that night. Then right as store opened to sell tickets there was a rush of people and mini riot. Ticket sales stopped but I hung around, worked my way through crowd and got in once they restarted selling tickets. My tickets were high lower level about mid court. Show as great. They scheduled another Outlaw date in Charlotte a few weeks later to make up for Willie not playing, along with a new slate of supporting acts, and we got free tickets to the second date (same seats)!
