John Y. Really fun show and the crowd was super into it. The band was a seven-piece with piano/synth, two guitars, bass, drums, a very effect laden trumpet, and Dan Bejar on vocals of course. Their sound was full and precise but they let the songs breathe and wander a bit and the crowd seemed to really relish those parts. They played mostly songs from their latest two albums (Have We Met and Labyrinthitis). I am not as familiar with those songs but they were great live. I love the Kaputt and Rubies albums so I was kind of hoping for more from those albums. While there were only two from Kaputt and two from Rubies, the show was still really great.  J B Saeccher, thanks for spotting out the senior moment in my comment. I entered a bunch of shows that night and the Ozzy show from Feb 20, 1982 was right before this one and RR was apparently still on my mind. All I ban do is apologize for the erroneous comment. And I have also removed that part of the comment. I guess by admitting I saw Randy with Ozzy 3 months prior would hint I knew he was never in Sabbath, once again, did not mean to deceive anyone,.  Thomas Rudy Not sure of the date, but I definitely saw the Pretenders at the forum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in the early ‘80s. Pretty sure it was the fall, best guess, 1982. The Pretenders May 15, 2022
Wedgwood80 This show was in Wichita Falls, TX, not Dallas. I was there. Did see them in Dallas at the Bronco Bowl in 1981 though. The Clash / Charlie Sexton May 14, 2022

Swimszoots This festival was changed as a result of issues surrounding Covid. The line up was changed from what is listed here - which I guess was the original line-up. Thank You Scientist did not play :-( But the West Philadelphia Orchestra did play which was awesome. Beardfest 2021 May 14, 2022
Swimszoots Trope played an acoustic set at this show with just Diana on vocals and Moorhead on guitar. I got a real "League of Crafty Guitarists" vibe from the guitar. Really cool to hear how they expanded the guitar parts to fill out the songs. The Pineapple Thief / Trope May 14, 2022
