 Charles Smith 29 ELP was great—on the Tarkus tour. The band Free (Paul Rodgers) was also on the bill but had to cancel due to I think the drummer getting injured. They were replaced by Cactus.  Mike Odom Styx opened for ZZ Top . Styx were absolutely excellent . Their voices and sound was par excellence . I have only heard Lady by them , but Crystal ball LP was just released and every one in my school were listening . This was the best voicing and harmony I have ever witnessed by a band live in all of my 64 years . Never will I forget this show ...  Tim_S Someone said Roger was ill that night but he got through it and nobody noticed. A 3- or 4-camera fan-made video, shot with hi-8 camcorders, of the show was made, called “Farmer in Ohio.” They tried to stop people from bringing cameras in those days.
