 Derek Ahhh … a night to remember .. my first concert, Alice Cooper comes out and is singing welcome to my nightmare while standing on a big toy box on wheels. He stands near a corner the toy box slides and he falls into the crowd breaking a rib and he’s done for the night and back out comes Suzi Quatro.  DanT Amazing - Linkin Park, a band nobody had heard of at the time, got a stronger reception than the headliner! I met both bands after the show. I told The Union Underground after the show and told them they would be a perfect fit for opening with Marilyn Manson, and that's exactly what happened a few months later!  watou The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced this was the show, and not the other possible show in late '82 at Richfield Coliseum. I was a starstruck teenager and touched their shoulders as they went past and it's now one of those mildly embarrassing events from youth. Funny how we went to some of the same shows way back.
