 Jim Lyons I don't remember if the whole band did, I do remember they did that on the 2nd Album tour that I saw at Kent State in 78 or 79. I do know Pete walked through the pavillion ( during I have the Touch, or Lay you Hands on Me, probably). When He did, he shook me hand, I was in left of the middle of the pavillion.  stepsix While asking the bouncer a few questions on arrival, the drummer came right out the front door wearing a kilt and blowing bagpipes.. It was a great show to my faint recollection. Around the end of the set, about 5-6 people in full pirate regalia came into the bar and started dancing around and interacting with the band (waving fake guns, spyglasses, rum glasses, etc).  Pyramider Glad I got to see Alan Wilson with Canned Heat... He died 5 months after this gig, which supported the "Future Blues" LP. Met their roadies after the show, said they needed help & asked me & my friend to join them on the tour! Had to refuse, we were still in high school.
