 Snappa "cmj festival at roseland with aphex twin, daft punk, sneaker pimps, death in vegas, crystal methid, ken ishii, luke vibert, luke slater & dj westbam!!! suffice to say nyc doesnt see ANY kind of mega-rave-style lineups like this in 2007!! aphex twin played a wicked and twisted dj set from ambient to pop/house to breakbeats. at one point he wrestled with life-sized teddyu bears- and Im not making that up! *** of 5 stars. crystal method was hot at this time with 'busy child,' their hard house & breaks went down well in 1997 but theyre more or less cooked in 2007. **-1/2 of 5 stars. daft punk played their typical "Homework" set, around the world was a highlight, Ive never been as into DP as everyone was, and still is. they do have a certain charm & musicality live that their LPs lack, i admit *** of 5 stars. and between acts ken ishii's techno & tech-house was very enjoyable too. a memorable roseland/rave/cmj house night" Aphex Twin / Daft Punk / Fluke / Sneaker Pimps / Death In Vegas / The Crystal Method May 19, 2025
 Chrissie mar I was all of 14 and a bit precious at the time. Golden earring were shite, was in the bar as was usual when the support band came on, never heard of them before but suddenly the var was empty.Think they started with gimme 3 steps?  Blues-Lover Great show, long show. great weather. Enjoyed Sierra Hull and Billy Strings. Bob Dylan sounded much better this year over last years concert. Willie is getting up there in years and Micah and Waylon Payne did a great job of assisting Willie with vocals. We just love all the songs by Willie. He is such a wonderful story teller. We had good seats and not surrounded by many idiots, which is always good. Venue needs to improve the exiting procedure for the parking lot. Otherwise, long but perfect day. Others present include Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, Whoopi Goldberg, and Drew Barrymore. Spielberg established the USC Shoah Foundation thirty years ago to collect video testimonies from survivors of the Holocaust and other genocides. Inspired by the making of Schindler's List, the video archive Spielberg created now includes more than 55,000 personal accounts and is available to schools across the globe. Bruce dedicates his performance to Spielberg and Capshaw, playing solo acoustic versions of "The Ghost Of Tom Joad" and "Dancing In The Dark".
