Queen is a British rock band formed in London in 1970. It emerged with Freddie Mercury (vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass) at the helm and quickly became a pioneer of stadium and arena rock with hits like "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Will Rock You," “Under Pressure” (with David Bowie), and “Another One Bites the Dust.” After Mercury's tragic death in 1991 from AIDS-related complications, the band continued with various guest vocalists including Elton John (1997) and George Michael (1992-1993).
