 Jessica Nix Saint Asonia only performed for 30 mins and mostly did 3DG songs? I mean, I love it but they also have plenty of their own material they could have done?  Wigbomb Aerosmith did not play this show, though they were promoted on the bill. The announcement that they'd cancelled was made from the stage. Replacement acts were Sylvester & the Hot Band and Ann Arbor's Radio King and His Court of Rhythm. I believe Bertha did play as scheduled. The New York Dolls' PA system failed during the first song, requiring at least two 45-minute delays interspersed with further failed restarts including one desperate attempt to turn the stage monitors facing the theater and use those as vocal support. Eventually the crowd got surly, there was ugly name-calling between audience and band, and the Dolls stormed off, giving the crowd the finger on the way offstage.  Black Reacher I saw them in 1981 at the Warner Theatre in D.C. That show's not listed here. It waws stunning. The curtain opened to reveal 8 shadowed men standing behind 8 banks of computers and keyboards. A beat drops and 16 arms just go up and down, up and down. robot-like. Then as the music builds, 8 of those arms become more human in their movements and the lights turn up. Each member had a "robot" likeness next to him. Nice. Kraftwerk Nov 30, 2023
 Black Reacher I saw The Pogues three times in New York. I think it was at their Palladium show that House of Love opened for them. Joe Strummer was with them the last time. The first time I saw them Luka Bloom opened. Around that time, he did a set at Continental Divide, an intimate little East Village bar on 3rd & St Marks. Really atmospheric.  Black Reacher I saw TML in New York in 1987. It was either the Ritz or Irving Plaza. They opened for The Chameleons UK. Violent Femmes was the first band on. Ann odd concert given how different each band's stage persona was. A great show, though. LMT comes on real strong. Their bass player was hanging in the lobby for a while later.
