 Blues-Lover Great show for the Trio, as expected. They played three sets of covers and original music. Jeffrey is an amazing guitarist and the Drummer and Bass player are equally amazing.  JLM65 This was the 1st gig I had seen in a number of years, advertised the night before on P-Rock TV (awesome). I went with my brother and saw 4 fantastic bands with loads of energy.  stephenhuerta 02/06/2026 Update: It’s been two weeks since GY!BE, and I’m finding myself still talking about that show. I’ve had a lot of people ask me about my last show, and who I saw. But it’s hard for people in Nayarit to interpret Godspeed You! in spanish. There is no spanish way of saying Godspeed You! Black Emperor. But they can see the excitement in my eyes, they know it’s real. Godspeed You! sold out the C4 show in GDL, as well as two shows in CDMX. Once again, a brilliant & extraordinary show, quite possibly thee best show I’ve seen in GDL to date. Every song started slow and mellow, then it would build up slowly, until the band just started rocking with sonic repetition, before you knew it, it was heavy, and loud. I was blown away. I sat in the VIP Section, and if I do say so myself, I believe I had the best seat in the house. I was, as usual, the first person in line for my ticket section, so I had my pick of seat. What an amazing show, it was a sold out crowd, mean it was packed. My friends Mena and Kary were there, as well as Jonathan and Vanessa. We all had a blast. God Speed You! Black Emperor Feb 07, 2026

Tomorrow I’ll reserve my room at the Hotel Stanza, in Roma Norte district of CDMX. I’ll give Juan a call in about a week to check in on my possible VIP seat. I’m hoping that he can help me out.
