stephenhuerta	02/06/2026 Update: It’s been two weeks since GY!BE, and I’m finding myself still talking about that show. I’ve had a lot of people ask me about my last show, and who I saw. But it’s hard for people in Nayarit to interpret Godspeed You! in spanish. There is no spanish way of saying Godspeed You! Black Emperor. But they can see the excitement in my eyes, they know it’s real. Godspeed You! sold out the C4 show in GDL, as well as two shows in CDMX. Once again, a brilliant & extraordinary show, quite possibly thee best show I’ve seen in GDL to date. Every song started slow and mellow, then it would build up slowly, until the band just started rocking with sonic repetition, before you knew it, it was heavy, and loud. I was blown away. I sat in the VIP Section, and if I do say so myself, I believe I had the best seat in the house. I was, as usual, the first person in line for my ticket section, so I had my pick of seat. What an amazing show, it was a sold out crowd, mean it was packed. My friends Mena and Kary were there, as well as Jonathan and Vanessa. We all had a blast.	God Speed You! Black Emperor	Feb 07, 2026
stephenhuerta	02/06/2026, Update: Well, I bought my tickets, the Doom Fest ticket and ODM Bus ticket for the Doom City Fest, so I’m ready. Tomorrow I’ll reserve my room at the Hotel Stanza, in Roma Norte district of CDMX. I’ll give Juan a call in about a week to check in on my possible VIP seat. I’m hoping that he can help me out. Georgellicious	What an insane gig. Sadly Ben Quad had some technical difficulties so weren't able to do their whole set. And also missed shoreline at the beginning. Arms Length - 10/10. It feels weird giving a 10 already this early in the year. But this was one of the best gigs I've been too! Koyo - 5/10. Not my thing. Very pop punk. Harmless. Also kept saying they were hardcore. They were not. Ben Quad - 7/10 my most anticipated band I've not seen. Despite the technical difficulties, they were awesome.
