 rstitt I was a roadie for Morningstar and was standing by the side of the stage next to the front leg for the scaffolding supporting the lighting trusses and a tarp across the top to protect the stage from rain. A sudden prairie wind-storm blew up and I noticed that the scaffolding leg next to me was lifting off the stage. The tarp was higher in front and caught the high wind gusts like a huge sail and it dragged the whole scaffolding down, with a corner of the structure landing right in the middle of Bachman-Turner's drummer's drum kit as he was diving off the back of the drum riser. A bunch of stage hands and roadies (not me) jumped on the billowing tarp, which was in the process of dragging the scaffold off the back of the stage, and they cut the connections between the scaffold and the tarp before it could go dragging through everything backstage.
