 Mickey Edwards I know I'm remembering correctly. I saw Foghat somewhere between June and December of 1979. It was in Savanna Georgia. They were warmed up by a 3 piece band I wasn't familiar with. What stuck with me was the bass player of the unknown band would grab one of the strings of his bass, and pull it far enough away from the guitar that he could play what sounded like lead. I've never seen it before or since it, and I don't know the band's name. Really hope someone will read this, and be able to help me out. [email protected] Foghat May 06, 2021

 kwyjibo2112 I can't believe it has been 27 years today that we went to this show. Counterparts is my favorite post 1980s RUSH album. My younger brother and I took our mom to this show. Seeing her singing the chorus of The Spirit Of Radio was the best part, for us. Having her go with us was such a surprise to us because we were just kids in 1979, when the Who show in Cincinnati went to pot. My parents were convinced that If we went to a concert, something terrible would happen to us. The worst thing that has happened at any show I've been to was at this show, when a guy from Candlebox's crew ran out on stage during their last song and mooned the crowd.  wiley58nc This concert list is a crock of shit. l saw Skynyrd 3 times at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC and not a damn one of them is on this list. First time it was Grinderswitch, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Skynyrd. Second time was Charlie Daniels then Skynyrd. Third time it was Goose Creek Symphony, Z Z Top then Skynyrd.
