 KBarley 44 years ago this evening John Messer and Michael Dean and I saw Dolly Parton at The Great Southeast Music Hall on Piedmont Road in Atlanta where beer was served in buckets and the concert attendees sat on carpeted steps. Tickets were $4.00 - $5.00. I remember one good ol boy who must have had one too many buckets of beer kept yelling "Dolly, I love you!". Dolly, finally put down her guitar and said, " Darlin', I love you too, but you're wrecking my show! ". He apologized. She giggled, told him it was o.k. and went back to singing.  kb Pink Floyd wasn't there, something about their equipment being stolen. I think Bloodrock ended up opening. They opened for GFR most of the time around DFW.  Peter Verguliak The concert startet with a band called Meteors, blach rythm music, just to warm up. Never heard oft hem before and afterwards. Then Little Feet with Lowell Geurge were playing very good. Instead of Robin Trower was John Miles playing. I remember only Music was my best friend. I was very disappointed like most oft he people, because everybody waited for the so called 2nd Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower. When it started to get dark, there were fireworks and the Stones started to act. It was a nice and hot June day in 1976. I always will remember this concert. I wasn laying on the floor about 30 m in front oft he stage. This was one oft he better concerts. I was 20 years old and I always will remember this concert.
