 Eminence Front This was a special night. A friend of ours had an old friend in BB's band. She brought us to the show then afterwards, to my shock, we started walking with her backstage.... then outside... then right onto BB's tour bus! We walked to the back and there was BB, sitting there like a King! He was very nice, took some pictures with us and even complimented the leather jacket I was wearing.  [email protected] I was a DJ for KRNY during this concert. There were storm warnings out and then a tornado was spotted on the ground going north of Kearney Nebraska where the concert was. I announced that on the radio many times. I received a phone call that BTO was still on stage playing. I shut off all music and just started talking about the verified tornado on the ground coming and everyone needed to take shelter immediately. I was never informed what had happened to the band and everyone who was at the concert. So after my shift I drove out to the concert area and most everyone had left. However BTO was still there in their bus. So I went into the bus to speak with them. I didn't have a camera or any recording equipment to document what was said, however I remember the conversation very well. I was told that the band got off of the stage, everyone except the drummer who was refusing to stop. His band mates went and dragged him off of the stage. As soon as they were off the stage the wind was so strong that it blew all of the lights and equipment that was over the stage and it came crashing down on top of the drums. If the drummer had not been physically dragged off the stage he would have been killed. They were very thankful for my small part in helping them out that evening while I was on the radio.
