 KevinG3 My employer had the contract to do sound but the bands all brought their own PAs so I was stuck with a backstage pass. Yes was not on the ticket, they were a complete surprise to everyone but the promoter. When I found out I ran out to my car and grabbed my Sony portable reel to reel , sat down in front of the board and found an unused Mix bus out. The rest is history. The tape was stolen from me in the '90s. I had been offered a thousand dollars for it in 1972 but refused. Last year Rhino pressed 5,000 LPs, ....10 bootlegs and 5,000 LPs, that tape has been around.
