Heavy rains created a mudslide down the center of the lawn. Crazy people were sliding from the top to the bottom...

Hey Wulfman, there is some inconsistent data for this concert, which needs fixing. Concert name appears as ‘Steely Dan’; however three different bands are listed in the line-up. Ramones is incorrect for the date 1 Jan 2006, as their last show was in 1996. Kindly review and amend. Cheers, Sacstracks

I supervised Back-Stage security for this show. Had a really nice chat with Dickey Betts before the show. Super nice guy.

My roommate Fitz and I sat main floor, seventh row on the left side, in the center of the wall of speakers stacked up on stage-right. XTC opened with an electric set that set the tone for the entire evening. The Police were on fire that night, touring in support of Zenyatta Mondatta, along playing a bunch of their early songs. My favorite moment was the massive bass grove, during Walking on the Moon. This show was one of the loudest I’ve ever seen. For three weeks after this show my left ear had a horrible whistling hum, that sounded like it was constantly shifting pitch, higher than lower. It was MADDENING, thankfully it ended. Wear Earplugs…you’ll thank me later.
