 Gaynor Cook Lux Lives 2019 was a 2 day event: Day 1 Glasgow on 29th March. Day 2 Edinburgh on 30th March. See attached poster. Most of the bands played both concerts. However I believe there were a couple of exceptions. I did not attend Edinburgh, however if you did and can create an event page for the 30th please do.  JG Muller C’était bien intéressant de voir de près les 6 musiciens (clarinettes, violoncelle, contrebasse, piano, guitare électrique, marimba ou batterie) et l’harmonisation de leurs parties. Après l’esthétique jazz/funk/rock apportée au néo-classique ne me touche pas vraiment, j’aurais même tendance à considérer que Bang On A Can massacre certaines compositions, notamment Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. Mais ce concert m’a fait découvrir le très bon « 1996 », sur lequel Sakamoto interprète en trio piano-violon-violoncelle une sélection de ses compositions, ici augmenté en sextet et en force.
