Did you see Songs Ohia with me and Lucas? I think that was a pretty bad show. I think Jason Molina was sick or something because they played a super short set and he had his stocking hat pulled over his face for a couple songs. It also was the louder more straightforward rock songs instead of the quiet moody stuff we liked.

Hello! Northwestern University is in EVANSTON, not Evansville, Illinois. Really, who is running this site? This is common knowledge. If you don't know this simple fact why should I believe anything else you post?

Opening Band was Exile - We went late. 2 row, but had to stand on our seats because of jerks in front row.

I found an old notebook that list concerts I attended back in the day, and this lunchtime "special event" is listed, but the "date" is simply and vaguely "1978 or 1979." Garfunkle did have a concert in LA that evening, per that Wordpress link.

Mom took me to my first concert at 9yrs old. 4th row seats. It was just me of the most amazing experiences of my now 50 yrs. Judas Priest opened for them!! Ace couldn’t get his guitar on the hook during his solo!! He just dropped it and it kept smoking….

Elvis was onstage for all 29 songs. He let the band take a break and while holding an acoustic guitar was handed a note by someone in the audience. After a quick read of the note he instantly started playing “funny Valentine” I lost the 29 song list

I wrote down all 29 songs at the time. Elvis was onstage the whole time. He let the band take a break while he played one acoustic song. Someone from the audience handed him a note and instantly Elvis started playing “funny Valentine”.

I don't recall playing these shows this month. Perhaps they got canceled or I just plain forgot. But I got the advert (uploaded).
