Rick Willenberg Michigander sounded great. This was my second time seeing them, they had a better groove and seemed to be building a better show overall with great attention to enhancing parts/moments that work for them and discarding songs or moments that don’t, for an overall great (improved) experience and that’s saying something bc I enjoyed the hell out of them last year. One such new moment in their set came with the self-titled track from their newest record that sounds inspired by Oasis. At the end of the song, Jason (singer/songwriter) did the chorus solo a cappella and it gave me chills it was so good. Michigander / Chapel Oct 22, 2026
