 Genesis Contreras For sure one of my fav/top artists. This was my first Taylor Swift concert, and it was this concert that was recorded for her Netflix concert documentary for Reputation tour.  Genesis Contreras This was one of those concerts where I had barely started working in Vegas and started having money flowing in. The ladies wanted to go last minute for a birthday. So we all got ready and went. During the set, she mostly just sung her songs. She wasn’t really interactive or heartfelt just felt like she was going through the motions, but looking back now we know what she was going through.  Genesis Contreras It was mostly just club music of the time (2014), glow sticks, and being such a newb out to a club scene (Las Vegas at that).  Genesis Contreras Not sure if I should count this as an actual concert LOL. But at the time I was born and raised in Washington, and met family and friends in Las Vegas to celebrate 21st and we hit the club (more so my friend Melissa). I was so nervous to even go to a Las Vegas club LOL. Don’t really drink and just was nervous about what to expect 😂 Probably fake drank my drink, and just wanted to safely make it home lol. Got pictures of Redfoo and he took my cellphone and took selfies with my cellphone! We were beyond ecstatic for that and to post these as our new profile pictures, and update the world lol.  Genesis Contreras This was technically my first “concert”! Super cheap tickets, around 20 bucks. Got my best friend to join and our parents since we were underage.  Aesthete LIGHT ASYLUM emerged in 2009 at the forefront of a movement turned full-blown revival of late 70’s to 90’s electronic music, inspired by pioneers of Detroit techno, Belgian new beat, EBM, gothic rock, Chicago house, new wave and synth pop. Autumn of 2011 would herald a new gothic club anthem “Dark Allies” with Funchess emoting eternal life in her signature contralto singing, “Forever…and ever” on the debut ‘In Tension’ EP (Mexican Summer/ Kemado Records). A debut full length S/T LP released the following spring aided in igniting the dark wave genre that coincided with the cold wave revival in NYC’s underground music scene. Funchess carried the torch above ground to iconic venues Radio City Music Hall, Koko, The Sydney Opera House, Moulin Rouge and Berghain.
